No. If I am a business I can say things are bleak if they are great or things are great if they are bleak. They aren't misreporting the numbers they are merely not giving the full picture.
The interviewer asked technical questions because the issue is technical, the interviewer is technical and the intended audience, is, yes, technical! That said, I wish he would have asked why we needed the CTEA et al to protect content that is 70 years old. Also there was no fair use mentions such as making a still from your favorite flick your wallpaper, etc.
I don't think we will see the surface, won't it die before it lands?
I don't think there is a parachute.

It seems easy, but shorting is very dangerous. Because all you need is some heavy buying, some good news, etc and suddenly "Hello Mr. Investor, yeah, we'd like you to buy some of that stock you sold" and now you are having to cover your assets during a short squeeze. I look at the short ratio when I buy stock.
Oh and just for a little editorial comment: Many people say the stock market is just like going to Vegas, I say, look at the amount of people that make money in the market. Look at the people that make money in Vegas! There are "safe" bets like betting on broad indices (QQQ - Nasdaq, DIA - Dow, SPY - SP500, EWJ - Japan, IWM - Small Caps) and the earlier you do it the more you end up with when you retire, I have been investing since I was 19 (about two years ago) and have made ~35%.
You only need $500 to start, and with some mutual funds, you can buy in small increments without paying much/any commission.
Don't think you need to be an expert to invest and to profit.
My Ti89's resolution is fantastic and gives me tremendous insight on a function. It also can integrate practically anything, solve simulataneous equations etc.
I like my Palm Vx but for work, it is the 89 all the way baby.
I'm sick of pointing this out--kids today LOVE the music coming out. The fogies at Slashdot think that their niche opinion represent the majority. Today's computer users aren't downloading music because they don't like the whole albums--they're downloading because it's free and available
No we don't. We like certain songs. We just get sick of paying 15 dollars for a cd when we hear a good song radio. I have stopped doing this. For example, this week I am going to buy two cds. Ocean Avenue by YellowCard and Palm Trees and Powerlines by Sugar cult, the cds are 7.99 and 8.99 at Circuit City, respectively. Those seem like fair prices, I know I will like 3 songs total guaranteed (as I have already bought them off itunes) With those prices I am willing to chance the sample(s) were misleading (other than the ones I bought of course)
I have/will purchase/d 5 cds in the last 12 months. but to say I am thrilled with music today is like saying I am thrilled with movies, because I liked Master and Commander and Lord of the Rings.
Funny you mention that. I have an Intellinet wireless card that Win98/2k couldn't recoginize for love or money (or drivers). So just for shits and giggles, I throw knoppix in the box. Boots up with an ip address, web access, the works.
There are other areas to work on imo like sound support etc.
Though I haven't been running Linux since last summer, but will as soon as school is over and have some time to tinker with my windows box.
I had something cool happen last night. I went to a coke machine to get a mr. pibb. I hear it fall but it is not below. So I pick up the flap and feel a can, so I pull it out, and another can comes with it. Neither one is a Pibb. So I open again, and feel a can wedged vertically creating a backup. I got 2 more making a total of 5 cans on 60 cents.
Wait hold the phone, you are saying there are ten people that listen to creed?

LMAO!!!! Mod parent up!

Then why not use limericks which are better for humor. In fact, a skillful limericist(?) writes arguably the finest form of poetry.

That is because the mods are unpredictable...
Actually that is not true, the mods are highly predictable. This will get modded up because of that mention.
Also, the difference between -1 Flamebait and +5 Funny is the mood of the reader.

Mea culpa, yeah I was going to write .025 amps then thought, hmm, better make it 25m so everything got messed up. My calculation is right though?
;)
Other than the assumed current and forgetting one of them
--Joey
well if you run them at 25mA and assuming the batteries have a life of .2amp hours then I would think it is 4*.2/.25m = 32 hours?
:)
I haven't taken my power course yet, so I am just going on my gut instinct.
That idea does sound pretty cool btw

Duh! If you are going to not save any money why move the jobs to India in the first place.
Don't forget, companies aren't doing this because they hate Americans, they are doing it because they save money. So we either,
1. Accept it
2. Regulate
3. Provide incentives to keep jobs here.
Or some combination of the 3. I would pick a combination of 1 and 3.

This year has been a decent one for reality programming. The Apprentice is pretty good, and My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance was hilarious.

As a fellow Tampa fan (15 years of fandom) I heartily agree. But even I know SB38 was a much better game than SB37
