    You can still use your product, MS is just shelving the ability for you to get it. This was on the MSDN site a while ago. Here's the text:

    Subscriber Download content will be retired on December 23rd
    Due to a settlement agreement reached in January 2001, Microsoft is phasing out the Microsoft Virtual Machine from its products. As of 12:01 AM Pacific Time December 23rd, 2003, we will phase out several product families, and remove the Microsoft Virtual Machine from others. The major product families that will no longer be available are:

    BackOffice Server 2000
    MapPoint 2002
    Office 2000 Suite and Products
    Office XP Developer
    SQL Server 7.0
    Windows 98

    Although these products will no longer be available for distribution from Microsoft, they can still be used in accordance with the terms of your MSDN Subscription license agreement.

    It is crap but this is an 11 year old. In word she wouldn't have to know html at all.

    A lady I work with does webpages for various church organizations, hospitals, etc. and she uses Publisher. The html is insane. What is done in 5-6 pages worth of html can be done with a table and two rows! lol. It also converts 1/2 the text to transparent gif images!!! Lol. Nightmare.

    So I want to replace the battery of the $500 iPod I bought a few years ago and had engraved and have taken excellent care of. I get back someone elses also ran for the low low price of only $99.

    This sucks. Apple makes me happy one day then pisses me off the next. Reminds me of a lot of bad relationships.

    Beginning of episode (I can never remember which one) stewie is rifling through the fridge, suddenly he see's what he's looking for and says "Great! Sunny-D!". I almost cried I was laughing so hard. It's the little things that make Family Guy a VERY close second to the simpsons. I own both DVD sets and they are awesome, watching McWhateverhisnameis do the voices is hilarious. Plus you cannot beat Mila Kunis (?sp) replacing the original Meg. I wonder why?

    Amen, if I wanted to watch a movie I'd go to the theater. I couldn't care less about stupid "mood setting" videos in games. The Baldur's Gate movies were very irritating since you couldn't skip them.

    As far as the toolkit goes that thing is a monster to work with. I want a toolkit like dungeon keeper, easy easy easy. Although who has time for video games in this economy? I waited 2+ years for this release and have bought the SoU addon and haven't even got through 1/3 of the original game. Feeding the family somehow takes priority.

    Genius, Virtual PC only runs on Mac and PC as I stated. VMWare runs on Linux and PC. Obviously you need to lay off the crack pipe.

    To clarify since you're not into reading my posts:
    When comparing performance between systems running on windows (VPC VMWare) VMWare is a resource hog. This is completely independent of Virtual PC. However, Virtual PC running the same OSes (that I have been running) is significantly better at allocating resources (primarily CPU).
