You can still use your product, MS is just shelving the ability for you to get it. This was on the MSDN site a while ago. Here's the text:
Subscriber Download content will be retired on December 23rd Due to a settlement agreement reached in January 2001, Microsoft is phasing out the Microsoft Virtual Machine from its products. As of 12:01 AM Pacific Time December 23rd, 2003, we will phase out several product families, and remove the Microsoft Virtual Machine from others. The major product families that will no longer be available are:
BackOffice Server 2000 MapPoint 2002 Office 2000 Suite and Products Office XP Developer SQL Server 7.0 Windows 98
Although these products will no longer be available for distribution from Microsoft, they can still be used in accordance with the terms of your MSDN Subscription license agreement.
All in the eye of the beholder. Unless you have the definative guide to ethics for all cultures, societies and social norms, you will be unethical to someone.
In reality do what matches your belief system and follow the law. That is all you need to do.
Remember a corporation is a legal entity that doesn't expire. Unfortunately most companies operate like a sociopath, no conscience.
It is crap but this is an 11 year old. In word she wouldn't have to know html at all.
A lady I work with does webpages for various church organizations, hospitals, etc. and she uses Publisher. The html is insane. What is done in 5-6 pages worth of html can be done with a table and two rows! lol. It also converts 1/2 the text to transparent gif images!!! Lol. Nightmare.
Because the US is the country that is paying for it. I guess it should only be released in NZ. That will certainly pay for the production costs, right?
When corporations come before constituents this is what you get. I don't care which party it is, they are all corrupt. Republicans just never cared about the people.
They are for less government regulation remember? (oh wait) They are for less spending. (oh wait) They are for the little guy. (oh wait) They are anti-abortion. (oh wait, btw that bill was directly modeled after the Nebraska law which was struck down, pandering assholes)
Republican party isn't good for anyone (even the rich). When everyone does better the rich get richer (hence derived benefit from public goods), and the poor get richer. When Republicans are in office only the rich get richer (by a smaller percentage mind you), the poor get screwed.
Bush Stinks & Dick Sucks. Vote for anyone else in 2004.
So I want to replace the battery of the $500 iPod I bought a few years ago and had engraved and have taken excellent care of. I get back someone elses also ran for the low low price of only $99.
This sucks. Apple makes me happy one day then pisses me off the next. Reminds me of a lot of bad relationships.
Linux is also a name for a distribution. For example, Red Hat Linux (instead of Red Hat GNU Tools/Linux). Hence the RMS anger management courses now available at MIT.
Beginning of episode (I can never remember which one) stewie is rifling through the fridge, suddenly he see's what he's looking for and says "Great! Sunny-D!". I almost cried I was laughing so hard. It's the little things that make Family Guy a VERY close second to the simpsons. I own both DVD sets and they are awesome, watching McWhateverhisnameis do the voices is hilarious. Plus you cannot beat Mila Kunis (?sp) replacing the original Meg. I wonder why?
Realistically it's proving it is not yet the time of the machines against this one awesome player. Hell I cannot beat chessmaster from my Apple//e, much less a damn supercomputer.
Lol, I saw signs at a High School football game where the cheerleaders (too young & too hot for me) were holding up signs that said I (heart) Cox. I just busted out. Unfortunately I had to explain my low brow humor to my wife who was none too pleased.
Amen, if I wanted to watch a movie I'd go to the theater. I couldn't care less about stupid "mood setting" videos in games. The Baldur's Gate movies were very irritating since you couldn't skip them.
As far as the toolkit goes that thing is a monster to work with. I want a toolkit like dungeon keeper, easy easy easy. Although who has time for video games in this economy? I waited 2+ years for this release and have bought the SoU addon and haven't even got through 1/3 of the original game. Feeding the family somehow takes priority.
Since they are obviously in a period of decline. I wonder if Sun Microsystems will exist in its current form in the next 5-10 years. I wouldn't bet money on it.
Genius, Virtual PC only runs on Mac and PC as I stated. VMWare runs on Linux and PC. Obviously you need to lay off the crack pipe.
To clarify since you're not into reading my posts: When comparing performance between systems running on windows (VPC VMWare) VMWare is a resource hog. This is completely independent of Virtual PC. However, Virtual PC running the same OSes (that I have been running) is significantly better at allocating resources (primarily CPU).
10 is binary for 2. Duhhhhhh....
There are 10 types of people, those who understand binary and those who don't.
;)
All my computer nerd friends think it's clever and everyone else cannot figure out why it says 10! lol
MedicationAssist Granted it's only for low income people but in the Bush Economy, more and more people need help.

Lol, higher clock speed does mean a processor is faster. It however doesn't mean a system is faster.
Lol look up Megahertz.
Funny stuff man!
Lol, now that's funny.

Word save as html.
//e in Basic (not well mind you) html shouldn't be too difficult for an 11 year old.
Netscape Composer (sub Mozilla).
A quick walk through on this html help site
If I could program on my Apple
Unfortunately you never learned how to spell virus in its plural form.

will run about $500/per dose? Remember recouping R&D is expensive.
Visual Basic DOS had a GUI in 1994 I believe.
You get what you vote for (unless it was Gore).

Lol, Half-life 2 had a problem as well.
