This is why they are kicking ass in the number of people that are signing up to NTL and is probably why the other Telco's are complaining.
??? Most of their customers have no choice as the current system of local cable monopolies means that if you are in a NTL area you have to use NTL. They certainly do not "kick ass" and the number of complaints about their bad and unreliable service have led to many previous articles in The Register.
Go to Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park, London... You can give a speech there for free!!! and you can listen to one for free!!!
On a more serious note, Speaker's Corner is really the historic start of free speech as British people have been legally allowed to get up at Speaker's Corner and say what they like for centuries, long before America was was even an idea.
You only have to use normal ROT-13 and it is illegal for any Russian to decrypt your data... The US gov will go to incredible lengths to catch these Russian spies now.
I think you have have not been reading the news. People getting arresting for wearing "Give Peace a Chance" t-shirts or old ladies carrying anti-war banners. People are being arrested for voicing critical opinion of the war.
Freedom and free speach were the first victims of this (probably the first of many) oil war.
Are there still people that think that GW2 is about "freedom"? The US is rapidly running out of oil and the best reserves left are under Iraq. It does not matter who gets the money, it is the oil that matters and this war is about getting that oil flowing. No one in their right mind would want an American impossed freedom as that is an oxymoron. Anyone with a little free thought can see the stupidity in the idea of forcing freedom on someone. The military have already got oil wells working again but the people are still without water.
This story may be an April Fools joke but the war is an obscenity against freedom.
All you need to do is move to a country that respects free speach and personal freedom and you will be able to continue doing these things. The main problem you will find is a drop in income but if you can live with that you may find happiness. I have long considered doing so and will probably do so as soon as my children leave home.

GWB et al stated their intention to attack Iraq before 11/9. We all need that oil and no matter what the smokescreen we have to get it. It does not matter who gets the money (read "Iraq will get the proceeds to pay the American companies rebuilding their country after it is destroyed). There is no oil left under the US and the only good reserves left are under Iraq.
Iraq has nothing to do with 11/9 or terrorism. They have always refused to allow Al Qaida into their country and only now that the US/UK controls sections have Al Qaida been able to hide in those parts outside Iraq control.
America has been funding terrorism for a long time and even now the trial of IRA gun smugglers going on in Florida does not use the term terrorist because they want to continue to deny that America has such a tradition of support for terrorists.
I do fear the US but not because I have anything to fear them for. They have, as a nation, gone mad. They attack countries for fictitous reasons and in doing so kill innocent people. I am an innocent person and I therefore fear them.
Although I completely agree with your point the way you put it shows a bias. I think Al Wotsit is an important view as it gives us the other side of the story. CNN et al are controlled by our governments. The Bush admin have made it clear what can and cannot be shown (even though the rules do get stretched) and so it is good to see a different perspective even though we have to accept that it is also as biased from the other side. I have seen lots of clips of Iraqi prisoners and then the news is outraged when Al wotsit shows US/UK prisoners. I remember the footage of that column of Iraqis that was blown away in the GW1 and yet today we get upset when they show dead UK soldiers. We rant about the rights of prisoners and the Geneva convention and yet their are 600 enemy soldiers held in Cuba with their rights refused. It is all very biased but we should endeavour to see through and fight against censorship even when it is our own.
I will not go as I would lose my job if I got arrested and it is easy to get arrested if someone next to you does something like throw a rock at a policeman. I still need my security clearance.
I spent 5 years working with the military and am proud of that time but I am very much opposed to this war. I am proud of those that do their duty but ashamed of the politians that send them to fight for oil.
The FBI etc. are not exactly famous for their acuracy. Only recently there was the case of that old man arrested in South Africa on an FBI warrent and he was left for a month before they realised that he was the victim of ID theft rather than the criminal.

Would your leader have given up power if the Russians had threatened them? How would you have felt if they had? The Iraqi people expect the same dedication from their leaders and they do not welcome the invasion in the way your press tell you.
The US have now given Turkey the all clear to attack the Kurds in return for clearance to overfly Turkey so even those that do want Saddam gone will no longer welcome this war.
Most people can see that democracy is an illusion like communism. So what is really going to be the outcome of this conflict. Will it be like Afghanistan? One load of tin pots exchanged for another? If true democracy was the intention then we had better stop trying to kill Saddam as a lot of Iraqis would want to vote for him. I think it will be seen as just another case of imperialism when the US only allows Iraqis to vote for people that the US thinks are suitable. There is no real intention to allow the Iraqi people to decide for themselves. They want someone who will stand up to the US and fight for their freedom.
You can tell the post office to stop delivering the bulk mail delivered by the post man. They are obliged to stop if you ask. I do not know how to stop "The Occupier" stuff (paying the dam TV license might work) but I have more of a problem with stuff that is addressed to previous occupiers.
I have been in many "my OS is better than yours" arguements where I stood up for SuSE and without getting on a soap-box now, this is yet another point in their favour. However this pans out they have stated that they are not happy with what SCO have done.
I switched to Sony and have not looked back. Things are a bit different and take a bit of getting used to but once I got there I found the Sony system a lot better. I cannot see how people think having to buy an adapter for Bluetooth even counts seeing as it is so important.
I cannot understand how a company can bring out a phone so packed with tech and not include what is probably the most important item. I do not send pictures although I am not against the idea. I only use text and voice. So the extras are just candy as far as I am concerned. Bluetooth on the other hand, is the only way to attach the hands free so I cannot use voice in the car without it. Going back to wires dangling all over the place as I drive is not going to entice me to buy this little baby.
A British doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a brain out of one man, put it in another and have him looking for work in six weeks."
A German doctor says, "That's nothing, we can take a brain out of one person, put it in another and have him preparing for war in four weeks."
The American doctor, not to be outdone, says, "You guys are way behind, we just took a man with no brain out of Texas, put him in the White House, and now half the country is looking for work, and the other half preparing for war."
This is why they are kicking ass in the number of people that are signing up to NTL and is probably why the other Telco's are complaining.

But they had to use Norwegian law to do so and they are still trying to get their heads around that one.
Erm, it does, actually

Shit, they are battering down my door now !!! here they come... AAAaaaarrrghhhh

They are in NZ !!! *AA do not apply.
At what point did free speech become global?
I cannot think of a country that does have free speech... but that does not mean that we cannot gripe and bitch about it.

Amazingly that was written in 1971 and still no-one has learnt the sense in it...
Will this make "Anonymous Cowards" criminals?

You are confused. Sendmail is a server and Outlook is a client. The 2 statements do not contradict each other in any way.

and what was wrong with Mogadon Man ?
