I forget what's inside the egg, but if you are carrying it when you meet the thief, he will steal it. Then later in the game, when you find the thief's lair, you will find the egg opened.
If I remember correct it was like a wind-up mechanical bird. You could either leave the egg laying around, or let it get stolen from your inventory. Either way it was always a pain to remember how long you had to wait before you could kill the thief and the egg would be open.
I'll take Samantha Carter over every other geek! Personally I would rather just take her over me, but hey if that sort of thing floats your boat who am I to criticizes.
Umm you do realize that they ran a half-season and that the show starts again Jan 21st. Now I dont know about you, but six weeks isnt exactly the better part of a year apart.
Most shows now that run into a major US holiday are splitting the seasons so that they dont have to air shows that might not be seen by people traveling or what not.
The only problem being that since your business model makes specific mention of cooking beef, McD's is now off the hook since they are clearly not violating that model:)
Its one thing to be named for the work you do, at least then you can take pride in your name. Being named after a company on the other hand... Lets just say that an accountant named "Karen Kotex" wouldnt be the best description of what she does for a living.
Anyone here ever read the book "Jennifer Government". Basically in the near future everything is corporate owned and your last name reflects the company you work for. So like John Nike works for Nike...
Anyway in the book they describe how the main female characters daughter attends school owned and run by Mattel... and reading a story like this makes you wonder just how close we are getting to a world that more closely resembles the one in that novel. All this needs is for the kids to be walking around with the last name Microsoft and there you go.
Anyone else think that this system looks a little like one of the 3DO systems that came out in the early/mid 90's?
Not the first gen 3DO, but one of the later ones... I remember when I was in Japan then, there was like 3 or 4 different models of the 3DO from different companies.
Does this mean I missed my chance to be on the beach with Tea Leoni??
Damn.....now this is why we need an more advanced early warning system.

The timing seems to indicate (at least to me) that it was more like hit the plane on the ground. I dont think anyone is good enough to collide two jumbo jets in the air.

IFF (Identify Friend/Foe) works off of transponders also. With the speed that most planes move visual id is almost impossible, and with the scramble to get planes down and such it would be rather easy to lose one in the crowd.

While I tend to agree with you in most points, the transponders where turned off on the planes. This makes tracking them with accuracy by FAA system virtually impossible. They also managed to subdue the crew before they could key a hijack through their communications systems.
But you are correct in many other ways the system was lax, but I dont think that this was done as a way to start a war.
Bullshit. When a car crashes we don't call it a "vehicle error".
Unless its a Toyota Prius, then its a "Floormatting Error" ... :)
Thank you, Im here all week.
More like "The Truth Shall Bind and Beat You".
