    If you rolled 10 6-sided dice the number of possible outcomes is 6^10 = 60,466,176 one of which is all 4s.

    Do NOT use steel wool in your plasma globe project. STEEL WOOL IS HIGHLY FLAMMAMBLE. You can start it burning with a 9v battery.

    DO use copper Chore-Boy potscrubber. That is what everyone uses, and the idea originally came from a guy named Ray, who wandered around a grocery store looking for something to replace the bare-HV-wire-wrapped-on-a-grommet that would arc thru the glass after a few months.

    I worked at the first plasma globe mfr, as did Ray. If you see a plasma globe or tube in a museum, it might be one of ours.

    I submitted this on the 23rd but the eds rejected it.

    Guy's email is in the WinXP credits because they use his GPL'd code, so you may have gotten a virus that used his address. Like the 600k he's gotten.

    I pointed out the poor web site because all the gopes and dreams of those opposed to black box voting seem to be resting on A WEB DESIGNER.

    I shall assume everything you say about the technology is true. Now, can you tell me why A WEB DESIGNER is trying to defeat its security, instead CRYPTOLOGISTS, COMPUTER SCIENTISTS, and HACKERS?

    Who is on your team besides web designers? If you can't give us names we know, you are out of your league.

    I am not impressed with that web site, either. No one else on a dial-up will be, either.

    What are your organization's qualifications for testing these systems? Do you have ANY well-known security people there? Why would you have a WEBMASTER make this challenge? How about a CS PhD?
    If you fail to find any security issues in the system you are presented with, you have proved nothing and given Diebold PR they could not buy.

    Would somebody post some facts? I know somebody out there knows the IPs, so we can see if it's only the DNS down.

    When I first heard about Alj.. being down yesterday, it was just badly lagged. Their video feed was suffering from too many users, so there's no reason to think the web server is any more capable.

    Oppenheimer did not object to using the bomb on Japan. Einstein was totally uninvolved after his letter to FDR warning him Germany could be working on one.
