  1. 2020 is coming along with another blue wave.

The last "Blue Wave" could have been more aptly described as a light mist. Unless they Democratic Party fixes their schism(s) and dumps the identity politics it's going to split in two and take everything down with it

  6. Remember when body cameras were going to be the answer to police accountability and finally show once and for all how unjustified most police violence is? Well when that *didn't* happen and instead proved the opposite true body cameras became just another tool in the systems of oppression because it only shows the point of view of the police officer!

Yes, I'm referring to gun dealers who go to shows and claim to be "private sellers".

If you've ever been to a gun show, you've seen them

So have I. Same guy with his table of Mauser K98s for the past decade. He probably has a C&R, I do too. Point is activities like you describe are already illegal, but the BATFE dosen't seem to care about them

Non-licensed gun dealers at gun shows would be illegal. Being a non-licensed gun dealer anywhere is illegal. Are you referring to private sales?

Inconsistent reporting standards across decades from all 50 states can result in a suspected false positive, where a human will need to go an investigate the information to either permit or deny a NICS sale, like if you happen to share a name and birth year with a person who committed a crime in your state

  13. Well this is Florida where they have what are probably the best open records law of any state in the union. The media not noticing an uptick of dozens, let alone, hundreds of murders is kind of far fetched

There is 'No' shortage of talent in tech. That's a line of garbage used by large American tech firms so they can hop onto the H1B train. What there is a shortage of is decent job postings. I keep in this dead end $35k support job because it's stable, full time and comes with great benefits. Every time I go out looking for those mythical $60k+ jobs they're all contract work that's guaranteed for no more than a year. But that's not a problem if you're here on a work visa or an H1B
