I mean, someone finding the original download of some book in a forgotten corner of the hard disk of some e-book reader and selling it for hundreds of thousands of dollars?
No, but the superman #1 comic will be worth ten times as much.
Not only involved, he did all parts of it. Also, check out turbulence which is similar hardware but with composite output (manually created signal on the fly).
The main thing with internet is that it's free exchange of information. It's just profit-hungry news companies that needed ads to begin with (since other companies deals with physical products). It's basicly in the last few years that people are demanding that their web envadours are going to be financially secure and pay their salaries.
The main problem (cost) is that of bandwidth and the ads sure haven't made that easier.
I never use ad-blockers but when I see animated noisy ads I sure wish I would.. but instead I simply stop visiting those pages for most of the time. Ads are fucking annoying.
Tho seated next to Kevin Smith I would never had complained. That guy is a genius. I think we would have a gazillion things to talk about. Not to say that he'd be interested but... whatever.. would be worth a shot.
since it's pirate bay wer're talking about, the print layouts should prob lay around somewhere for anyone to download and hence you could take that and print it in a local shop. even print some more and sell locally if you wanna do business.
I never came pass the first book when I tried to read it as a kid because it was so damn booring.
The movies kicked ass.
I now read the books again and I think that the movie adds a lot (in all sense of the word) but I really think the books are still a bit boring. I think they followed the books as good as they possibly could.
I really hope Jackson gets do do all movies in JRR's world.
The major software houses just fancy xbox360 and playstation 3 more... all game developers I know (and I know quite a few) seems to be targeting the xbox and ps, but almost never mention the wii at all. It just don't have the horsepower needed for top games and since they want to release on pc at the same time, they can't really make two versions with huge differences inbetween.
The ps3 has the same problem but has more horsepower underneath and still a big enough market to be targeted, but the xbox360 really has an advantage in being pc compatible.
I'm not really a fanboy of any consoles, I like the ps3 the most but I think the xbox has the best market at the moment. However I'm pretty sure nintendo has the best ecomomy, they never lost a dime selling one of their consoles tho the other depends on selling games to make up for the loss of the console.
At least this is what I'm told, feel free to correct any of my statements.
I've been an active coder within the demoscene since 1995 and I don't have a friggin clue how they can get all that content into 4k. That is how hard it is. Amazing stuff. And I even know the people:-)
I'm paying for spotify and I would not bother how many times something would break my playlist for commercials, it is such a good service and good service is definitely worth 9 euro a month.
Voddler.com is going to be the next big thing here in europe, we don't have netflix and such.
Yeah, and those 15 seconds include more emotion and acting than the whole prequel series do together.. and Hamill aren't a good actor.

Maybe he is a microsoft programmer? Or any product that sells for millions but there might be thousands of developers?

how many library of congress is that?
Sounds like something Google Street View could use to remove people from their views and make them more acceptable.
And then a bug occurs and only black people gets erased and they're screeeeewed!

Maybe they estimated Chuck Norris would do the coding.
Hehe, rather have a "+1 wrong" so I can learn from that experience :-)

To "recall" a car usually that you go to the shop to have it fixed, you just don't pay anything. It's not like you'll get your money back :-)

... but, but... you're downloading linux. That means you don't pay for windows. You pirate.
well, it's not like a rover got stuck in a ditch on mars...
It does if it was 64x too big to begin with. Live and learn.
Yeah, I get that all the time.
And here in sweden it's common to get fiber connection in the cities, making it at least 100/100.. so yeah, we're going there. :-)
From my high-def camera?
Well, sure, I'd love to use my 768kbps upload to push all that up for online video editing so I can get my 1080p, sounds fucking fantastic!
You know, that comment will be damn funny to read in a few years time :-)
