When I moved here from the UK, where everybody gets vaccinated against TB, I had to have a chest x-ray done to prove i didn't have TB because immunity from vaccination gives the same result on the skin test.
He was there as the chair of the meeting not as the other candidate... it wouldn't have been appropriate.
It would have changed nothing.... the votes would have been thrown out and congress would have voted along party lines for their respectice candidate ergo Bush still wins.
If you're refering to the counting of the electoral college votes, then Al Gore had a duty to essentially tell them to sit down and shut up. The rules only allow a vote to be challenged if the motion challenging the vote is properly submitted theirs was not and so they were out of order.
Do a quick google search... the ideal temperature for brewing coffee is 190 - 200 degrees. McDonalds was doing nothing wrong with the temp of the coffee.
Holding a cup of coffee between your legs while removing the lid in a moving car has never been a good plan.
I remember being at the local best buy for a day-after-thankssgiving-sale... the lines were huge and people were being told at 12.01pm after standing in line for 30 minutes that the sale ended at noon.
The other trick was I was told that an item i wanted that was in the ad hadn't come in yet. Yet allegedly got delivered right after the sale ended at noon.
This is a problem I've had with best buy in the past... they refuse to honor the Uniform Commercial Codes implied warranties of merchantability without explicitly disclaiming said warranties at the point of sale. It's about time something was done about it.
I'm not sure... it almost sounds like a typo... previously I'd heard that gases in the air can condense on the extremely cold surface of the tank. I'm not sure how hydrogen would get there though.
Actually that's BS a contract is not a piece of paper it is an agreement between two or more parties and as such it must be clear to all parties what they are agreeing to.
Courts when asked to enforce contracts will look to try and find what the parties thought they were agreeing to.
Do some digging on the Uniform Commercial Code and Implied warranties and the lack of a "Disclaimer of implied warranties" displayed and best buy stores and them tell me the service plan is a good idea.
for the nth time... uranium does not make a good dirty bomb. Uranium is used in nuclear weaponds because it can produce a sustained chain reaction not because it gives out harmful quantities of radiation when scattered (which it doesnt).
but now scientists have come up with this ... a pen with a watch in it.
The parent was referring to the BBC Computer sold by Acorn not the entire BBC

I'm not sure what your point is, how many were there before 9/11 ... there hasn't been enough time to tell if there's going to be more attacks.

Can you come up with a name other than Tankguy for that picture .... I'm sure half of the slashdot readers are afraid to click on it.
most contraceptives today include abortive properties
I have two kids that would disagree with that statement.
He's also scared of cats ... so just carry one around with you and you'll be fine.
