One aspect of this may be that here in the USA we seldom see the non mainstream view. Most people don't use the net(or their brains) to look at a news story we see on T.V. and hear the OTHER side from the internet. The first thing I do when I see an infalitory news story is go out and look at what the other side has to say. I might not a gree with them, but i want to here their side. Ive been lied to bu the us media, or only told half the story, or only gotten the 3 second sound byte too often to trust them for ANYTHING beyond getting the time, and maybe local weather.
The other problem that may be related is a lack of language skills. I only speak english, so reading or searching for information in another language is useless to me. Yeah, theres the fish, but thats no help untill after ive found the article i need to read.
Im not doubting you, really.;) I'm interested in paleloclimatolgy and found a bunch of links about that and recently lost them, and was hoping to not have to dig for them all over the internet again.
I Think that thats too long a time sacle for humans. Weve been "human" for the past, call it 500,000 years give or take, which is nothing in goelogical, continental drift terms. THe continents probably moved a mile or two in that time.
I wound up paying 6 bucks more for a gps handheld then i would have paid on amazon. It seemed like a good price at the time, so what the hell, i paid a little bit more to a smaller busisness.
And then give them 90% of any money they get from suing over the spams sent to it. But how do I send them this proposal without it being a spam? Im serious!!!

I use yahoo, and have been quite happy with it. I do get ads for crap from them. Fine, free service, gotta make money somehow, ad its only a couple of ads a week. But if im going to pay them id best not be seeing any ads form them. And for that matter, tht pop was convieninet, but the hell with it, its not worth 20 bucks a year for me. I can use webmail just as easily.
