David Gerrold (sp) just wrote a book a called jumping off the planet, basically set on a space elevator. One of the uses of the elevator is generating MASSIVE amounts of electricity from this sort of effect, which has to be managed by seling it, giving it away, or simply grounding it. Not a bad book set for the young to teenage coming of age story, but enjoyable by an adult.

This is some of the best evidence so far that HUMANS have nothing to do with the climate changing on earth. The fact that mars is undergoing the same climate changes(relatively speaking) that the earth is should prove that HUMANS are having little or nothing to do with the earths climate changes. IT is rather a normal climate cycle that we are having little or no effect on.
Well then, just time it so you do 120 most of the way, then slow down to 3 mph the last mile before the toll. YEah, i know it wont work, but if EVERYONE did it it would. Sigh.
