    Agreed. I think that security checkpoints should have 3 things - a metal detector for people to walk through, an x-ray machine to examine the luggage, and dogs to sniff out anything explosive.

    Yes, DC has voted to legalize recreational use. Also, earlier this year the DC council voted to decriminalize possession, so it was already just a $25 fine or somesuch.

    I've recently tried to watch 2 different sporting events that I DVR'ed, and had someone come in the room and accidentally spoil the ending.

    That really, really damages the enjoyment of watching.

    I wonder what that says about books/movies vs sports.
