meeting the deadline is all that counts.

That's pretty much all that counts where I work.

I have a lot of complaints with my own code, but I don't have time to fix much. There's always another project in the pipeline, and management doesn't understand the need for maintenance. The boss thinks that because he says "we do it right the first time", that that actually happens.

I've been using one of these for several years. I like it better than the mouse, especially because it doesn't require as much arm/wrist motion. I've never had any problems either working or gaming with it.

I think its because people with an agenda to promote are more likely to want to get on the school board. Most mainstream folks accept evolution and the teaching of evolution in schools, and so are satisfied with the status quo.
Those with a gripe against what's going on in the schools are more likely to try to get control.

The only way to eliminate this is to end the discussion, once and for all, by saying that ID is *not* scientific and doesn't belong anywhere but theology and philosophy courses.

I'm pretty sure that's what the judge said in the PA case. Only applies to that circuit for now, but I'd think its a pretty strong precedent for the rest of the country. /too lazy to search for links

Hmm, I do have a set of 12 bits in my toolbox. Will I have a copy of my database on each one? Or maybe they will each download the data from the drill whenever I switch bits.
