Canada? Go back and RTFA again. The article may be on a Canadian website, but it's most definitely a ruling by a US judge, in a US court, in the US.

Also, the Family Movie Act just legalizes the use of software in the player to edit in real-time an unedited copy you already own. It does not legalize the creation of derivative works and the sale thereof.

I guess if Google Earth ever adds a geological map layer, it might make hunting for impacts a little less hit-and-miss, but geological maps aren't usually how people navigate or locate a business, so I can't see that happening soon ;-)

I'm not sure what you mean by "geological map layer". However, just in case you didn't know, Google Earth (the stand alone program) does have topography, and renders all the maps in three dimensions. I personally have spent many hours staring at impact craters and volcanic craters that way, just 'cause I think it's so cool.

First, the summary of this article is incorrect about E85. Minnesota is not the only state that offers E85. North and South Dakota, as well as Iowa, offer the alternative fuel.

The summary didn't say Minnesota is the only state to offer E85. It said that it's the only state to offer it at more than 100 stations.

In fact, in addition to the states you list, E85 is offered in probably about 30 other states.

You're talking about "guilty", like in a criminal sense. In a criminal case, yes, a prosecutor has to prove "beyond a reasonable doubt" that you are guilty. However, in a civil case, there is no "guilty" or "innocent". There's only a judgement for either the plaintiff or defendant. And, to get a judgement in their favor, a plaintiff just has to show that you more likely than not infringed, just like the grandparent post said.
