Nobody forced you to have a kid. That was a choice you made on your own. Take some god damn responsibility for the choice you made. If you and your spouse don't have time for your kid, then why did you have him in the first place? The problem is not the entertainment, it's the fact that too many people who give up on parenting and let the government and tv raise their kids because, "it's too hard", and "they don't have enough time." But this just breaks with everything that is star wars. Having a bunch of talentless monkeys show up simply because they have a gazillion dollars, even with Lucas knowing full well this will upset many of his core fanbase for the series.

I thought that Lucas still had integrity, even after TPM. I remember the Lucas that forewent giving the role of Luke Skywalker to a well known actor because he wanted some not so well known actor to have a crack at it.

When was the last time you saw a copy of Windows XP (and this is a retail copy, not considering the fact that it comes free with most new machines) for $3000?

    2 points:

    1) you're comparing apples to oranges. The HP distro is for things a hell of a lot more complicated than what you use XP for(regular home use). Windows 2000 Server OSs costs significanly more than the Professional version, not to mention that most of the software you need has to be bought separately, whereas distros bundle everything you could possibly need.

    2) XP is not "free" when you buy a new computer. You simply don't have to install it yourself, which is the only gain. You purchase a license for windows XP when you buy a computer, whether you know it or not.
