  1. Re:Micro Matters on Developing StarCraft 2 Build Orders With Genetic Algorithms · · Score: 1

You should never win 3 on 1. When I was in Computer Club in high school I won a 7 on 1 (as the 1) in WarCraft 2, because all 7 thought "oh noes! we are playing Bill we better build up a huge defense" and I just took them out one at a time. All they had to do was all 7 send their first worker or even first combat unit to my town and kill me early. I guess some people just aren't cut out to play RTS games lol.

IE still dominates the world. I think separating every possible version of each browser and calling it a different browse is a little bit of funny math. A lot of politicking going on here in favor of Firefox.

Call me when the Firefox (all versions) surpasses IE (all versions). If you put me in a Firefox 3.0 browser and a Firefox 3.5 browser I couldn't tell you which one I was using without going to Help --> About. I can barely tell the difference between IE7 and IE8 without going to Help --> About. The average end user doesn't distinguish to themself "I'm using IE8" or "I'm using Firefox 3.5" They just say I'm using IE or I'm using Firefox.

That survey is completely bogus. Pittsburgh is actually a very clean city. It just has a bad reputation, because of its industrial past. Back in early 1900s it used to snow black in Pittsburgh. Businessmen had to change their white shirts at lunch time, because they had turned black.

It isn't like that any more though. As someone who grew up in and still lives in Pittsburgh I can assure you that it snows white here now and that the white shirt I am wearing today will still be white when I get home.

It has long been established that you only have the right to free speech as long you aren't bringing harm upon other people while doing so.

While not as extreme this falls under the category of "harrassing the officer of a law". In the eyes of the government and the law it is just as bad to "harrass" a TSA official (even if it something minor) as it is to call a police officer and idiot to his face.

I have a friend who was cited for "harrassing an officer of the law" for telling a meter maind to not be bitch after she stood at his car and put a new parking ticket on it every 15 minutes.
