  2. Ha ha, you may be right. And I bet I get finished quicker as well. And if you don't like that C-g to you.

  3. I've been given ultimatums by far to many liberals to bother with trying to work "together" any longer.

Not saying conservatives don't do the same thing.

But, I'll stick to voting my conscience, electing the people who will do what I desire. It is a lot easier.

  4. > Defining your self 'Conservative' is even more idiotic. So every time a new idea comes up, you are against it, because you are 'conservative'? Har har ...

Your assertion assumes I agree with your definition of "Conservative". Probably not so.

    Have a great day.

  5. Maybe I missed a digit, bad eyesight. Ugh. I'll trust your opinion, taint worth my time to track it down.

Regardless, I definitely have been here a long time. Have a good day..

I agree, that userid is not one that has been around 15 years. Mine, yes, that one, no. Guess she could have got an ID after being an AC for years....

Per /. being a platform for conservative nerds that is a good one. I literally had to walk away from /. for about 5 years because it had become so leftist infested that I literally couldn't say a word without being modded straight down. On practically anything I said as a Conservative.

So, while the ratio of conservatives to liberals on /. now seems about 50/50 to me it has absolutely not always been that way.

Someone close to me makes over $200k salary programming in Silicon Valley. And quite frankly she is worth every penny of it. She gets the job done, works normal hours which means the boss can walk into her office and actually chat with her rather than having to get out of bed at 3am to talk to someone on the other side of the world, and I suspect she gets 10 times the work done versus her juniors in other countries.

  13. Well, everything you mention is merely just part of earth itself. So it's all from a technical standpoint, natural.

Man is simply repackaging and moving the material from one place on earth to another.

Peaceful protest is one thing, I've done it myself.

But there was a plot uncovered for an acid attack to occur during the inauguration activities. That is not protest. Certainly not even remotely a peaceful protest planned.

Since the article is sorely lacking in details as to what is being searched for, they state a "riot", I am sticking with they are looking for the acid attack planners. And that is a worthwhile pursuit.

If not, guess what, throwing rocks, bottles, and pipes is a worthwhile reason to search a phone. It's no different from searching a home for hidden child pornography, or a knapsack for molotov cocktails or a car for a cache of guns that a suspected criminal might possess.

If it's felonious behavior, which rioting with acid is, then absolutely search the phones.

If you are trying to define Christianity you are doing a poor job. I'll help you out. Christianity derives it's name by the fact that it's followers adhere to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

You will find those teachings in a set of books organized under the title, "The New Testament."

I think if you actually study the New Testament you will find that Jesus Christ's teachings do not espouse arbitrary hatred towards his fellow man.

Unfortunately, as noted by someone else, you are for the most part attributing something to Christianity that is not found in the teachings of Christ.

    Have a good day.
