    I strongly hope several companies will resist the urge to go with 4e and continue develop for 3.5.

    You should also have some process that completely blocks ssh login attempts from a given IP after so many failed login attempts instead of letting the hi-jacker poll your machine for as long as he wishes.

    I seem to remember a man with explosives that looked like the heel of a shoe.

    I had to fly from Montreal, Canada to Indianapolis, USA last August (I hate to fly, but a 14-hours drive did not appeal to me either...), and, of course, had to remove my shoes before boarding the plane on the way there and on the way back.

    Like I told another passenger: "Good thing the guy did not try to hide a bomb in his underpants..."

    If anything City of Heroes/City of Villains is better than any other MMO I've played (EQ blaaah) for the sheer fact that they update content/balance/etc the game so much. And they do a bunch of it for "free" as well (read: you don't have to buy another expansion), they've released some monster patches.

    Until Microsoft actually reveals the patents that are being "violated" it really can't be judged what patents (if any) do and don't violate Microsoft patents. Until this happens, all we are being fed is hearsay and speculation.

    I would like to assert, here, that having beliefs does not automatically make one stupid or a joke. If you think that he is wrong, or that his beliefs are stupid, then by all means post an intelligent counter-argument! Debate is a good thing--it forces us to think. Likewise, if you believe my post to the mods to be out of place, show me why ! Start a discussion!

    The post in question was a rant, pure and simple, and the best way I know of to deal with ranting people is simply to ignore them. That's why I did not post any counter-arguments.

    I responded to your post, by asking a simple question: if you had to mod this post, what would have done instead ?

    You were correct, "Funny" was probably a very poor choice, and it since got changed to "Troll", as I surmised it should be (and no, I'm not the one who did the change...)
