You made a funny joke! You called him Mr. Gates! From Micro$oft!! (they're evil) because he doesn't agree with the Slashdot groupthink!!!! LOLOLOLz0r0s
Could you please tell me what is wrong about that? Because I thought it was ironic that Sharman is trying to use the DMCA to their advantage, when the DMCA is precisely what is being used against them.
If you didn't agree to the license, you are using the software illegally. Therefore, if you _use_ the software, you implicitly agree to the license. The clickthrough is there simply so the company can say in court that you were presented with the license and decided to agree to it.
We should be delivering privacy and freedom *everywhere* we can. In fact, isn't the whole idea (paraphrasing) "to deliver the Axis of Evil to freedom" or some crap?
The people in the country aren't what put it on the "Axis of Evil", anyway. It's the actions of the government and political leaders. But people are just people. The everyday citizens of any country deserve the same thing no matter what country they live.
If you want to illustrate the breadth of electronic music, then for the love of god, don't use digitally imported. Check out Soma FM for a wide range of electronic (and some other) styles.
There is no patch for SoBig. I think you're thinking of MSBlaster, or something that exploits a vulnerability in the computer. SoBig requires no vulnerability, because the USER RUNS THE VIRUS VOLUNTARILY!!! Genius!
Of course. Because attractive "artists" sell more units. But what are you in it for? If you're in it for the actual music, then this shouldn't matter. Just because they only promote "artists" (products really) based on their looks and attractiveness, doesn't mean you can't find what you're looking for. The record companies are in it for money. They promote what sells. If you want something else, you're going to have to find it yourself. And it does exist, no matter what you want. Someone out there is doing it, and is probably under-appreciated.
Thank you. You know what you're talking about. I find that to be a trait severely lacking in this article's comments. I would also say that autotune is used in more than two thirds of all singing parts used in pop music. I think it's even used occasionally in rap when a verse goes through a little melodic sing-song type section. I strongly suspect both Nelly and 50 Cent, as well as other's producers are using this.
are you naturally that much of an idiot or do you have to try?
Holy everloving shit! I thought I was hot shit with 2 years, but I bow in deference to your supreme drought of the ages.
wildtangent of spying on you fame. this should be good.
11 months? Is that all?
Bwhahahah!!! Amateurs!!!
Hahahahaha... good one. Well, I actually can't tell if you're being serious or not, but regardless, this is fucking hilarious.
Excuse me, but what are you talking about? Perhaps you're just exaggerating? But most mp3 files are no bigger than 5MB. How does that not fit in 64MB?
Sweet merciful Jesus. As a hint, go look up the year Java was created.
YHBT. HAND.
I concede defeat.
Haha, you're going to have a lot of catching up to do in November.
You can listen to music for free on the radio, but what you listen to is still controlled by the man.

No, the DMCA only applies in the good ol USA (hint: where the servers are)
No, this isn't the end of anything. They link to the DMCA complaint, which gives all the URLs! Google, defiant as always. I fucking love google.
That, according to the license

It's not even a documentary.
