The major credit card companies already don't allow transactions with AOMP3. Neither does paypal. Last time I filled up, I went through a service called XROST.
The Army Times reported that, as commander of a low-tech, third-world army, Gen Van Riper appeared to have repeatedly outwitted US forces.
He sent orders with motorcycle couriers to evade sophisticated electronic eavesdropping equipment. When the US fleet sailed into the Gulf, he instructed his small boats and planes to move around in apparently aimless circles before launching a surprise attack which sank a substantial part of the US navy. The war game had to be stopped and the American ships "refloated" so that the US forces stood a chance.
Live performance? Or sell tshirts? Or keep a day job?
I think if we totally abolished copyright, some artists/creative talent would indeed not get paid/give up, but I think the total benefit outweighs the negatives.
And a middle ground in which copyright is not totally abolished but just brought back to the realm of the reasonable would be even better.
Think of it like a mouse. You move a mouse to get the same relative movement of the cursor on the screen. You don't actually have to put the mouse on the screen. Similarly, you don't actually point the wiimote at your target. You aim with relative movements. FWIW, I find slingshot aiming in Zelda to be the best projectile aiming system I've ever seen in a console game.
Lucky you. If you got to the East side Target in Madison, WI after 3:00 AM, you'd have been out of luck. They had 111 consoles. I got there at midnight and I was number 93 for the 8:00 opening.
FWIW, I achieved a much higher S/N ratio with an internal M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 than I did with an Edirol USB interface. Internal isn't always bad. Most of the comments are overstating the effect of interference on a quality board.
What makes you think he was running red lights and stop signs? BTW, turns need not be turned on a bike if both hands are necessary for the safe operation of the bike. That's the legal wording in most states, I believe. I frequently find that both hands are necessary for the safe operation of my bike when approaching a corner.
I suppose you never exceed the speed limit on public roads since you hold traffic law in such high regard?
If I'm not mistaken, I just made that joke.

Because it's convenient and requires no specialized software. I can use it at work.
So it pays to replace a brand new bulb, but not one with 20 hours remaining? I think his math was off.
Three bucks? Holy crap. Don't people realize they could be getting a Big Mac for that kind of money?

Very strange
I was hit twice in the same day riding on the sidewalk.
It's like a hurr hurr.
Aerodynamic drag is directly proportional to the square of the air speed.
What countries are you talking about? Riding on the sidewalk is far more dangerous.

The road with traffic is actually the safest place to ride, contrary to your intuition. This is consistent with my riding experience.

Economics is dependent on physics?
This I gotta hear.
Yes, it is. But the point stands.

Here are some stats for you.
Executive summary: You're wrong.
But read it for yourself. It's very in depth.
You're the kind of guy that the audiophile crystal audio clarifier salesman loves to see walking in the door.

The force of the aerodynamic drag is almost doubled at 130mph vs 95mph.
