  1. W (Hat)? on Behind the Moralgorithm · · Score: 2, Informative

I can't be the only one who has absolutley no clue what the quote from the article means.

  2. Re:Firefly nominations on Hugo Nominations Announced · · Score: 2, Informative

Objects in Space was certainly one of the most unique things I've seen in a while (Whedon's commentary on the DVD really fleshes it out) but it was not the last broadcast episode. In Fox's infinite stupidity, the 2 hour episode written to be the true premier of the show was broadcast as the last episode.

No, silly, everyone knows that only duct tape can remove warts.

  4. Hey... on Turn Your GBA Into A Game Console · · Score: 1

Hasn't Nintendo already basicly covered this area with the whole Game Boy Player thing? I mean it outputs to the TV with whatever video connection your GameCube has, and it allows you to use any GC controller while you're at it. I don't really see the point...

  5. Re:Seriously... on Namco Classics Hit TV Game Form · · Score: 1

Wait... did you just ask for a Namco Museum to come out for PC? Namco executives are ecstatic over this new way to squeeze money out of 20+ year old games. Expect it in stores next week (minus source code and 995 games).

  6. Seriously... on Namco Classics Hit TV Game Form · · Score: 3, Interesting

This would be pretty cool, if only they hadn't already released these same five or so games on every system imaginable.

  7. 100 million? on Destroying Nuclear Weapons with High-Energy Neutrinos · · Score: 2, Informative

The cost would be around $100 million-plus and it'd use 50 GW of energy, the UK's current consumption. (And the slight problem that the process might set off the nukes, instead of just melting them...)"

Doesn't the US spend something like that producing a single bomb? A quick google search brings up an interesting result:
The US spends 100 milllion dollars every day maintaining it's nuclear arsenal.

No, the real real question is, why are you getting modded redundant when you are only pointing out the abundancy of non-redundant moderated posts? If people want to mod down so much, at least point it at stuff that applies...

This article reminded me that my Mozilla install wasn't working (downloaded a messy nightly build) so I ended up downloading 1.0.1 right after Phoenix. I took a quick look at their file sizes and I was pretty suprised. The full Mozilla install is only ~10 MB and the full Phoenix install is ~8.5. Is it really worth losing all those features for only a small size and (maybe) a small page rendering speed increase?
