Well that's your problem right there:) Have you ever went in and looked what iTunes does with your actual MP3 files? EghhuUghhEughhhhhhhhh..... I wouldn't let iTunes anywhere near MY mp3 collection. *I* organize my MP3s how I choose and Windows Media Player just *PLAYS* them. What a music player is supposed to do.

Oh god, well atleast you can transfer the song irelessly no? Transfer the song alternatively to the wifi feature and you can get around the DRM. Just as you can with the Ipod.

i'm sorry but I don't remember mentioning that the Ipod is doomed I believe I was just being more realistic in pointing out that Microsoft has released a quality product that relatively stacks up quite well against the Ipod, in QUALITY AND SALES. However, predictably the trendy Ipod has a large following with many of its followers/sheep/hipster wannabe users instantly bashing Microsoft for attempting to provide some competition/innovative features against the Ipod and even attempting to challenge a device you have already voted for with your wallet. The only thing that bugs me is the new TAB OVERFLOW managing. Before it scaled the tabs down. YES, there was a limit to how many it could hold but it could hold more on the screen at once. A combination of both means of managing the overflow would have been the better way.

If I lived in Quebec I would go down to that school right now, politely ask for my uncle professor freakgasm and tell him I seen him losing his mind on youtube point/laugh. haha just because noone else makes hardware for apple doesn't mean they are one cohesive a pretty meeting of hardware and software. Give me a break. If Apple has been so great at integrating hardware and software.. then why are there SO MANY game controls, 3D visualization equipment, Wacom tablets, hardware in gernal for the PC?
I think the sales are pretty good actually. In an MP3 player saturated market. To jump so far ahead of so many competitors is actually quite a feat. If anyone thought it would suddenly outsell Ipod on opening day they were thinking far differently from what I believe Microsoft's expectations were of the product.
Zune is making its mark right now as a considerable competitor. Many more will sell over the new year.
Microsoft has already taken a large chunk of Apple's customers.
To encourage people to invent and discourage people from stealing other's inventions would be the ideal and meaningful purpose of copyright law however is that really what judges are thinking when at their podium? Maybe not. But they definitely should be. The sad fact is these old farts just can't or can't be bothered to keep up with technology or keep themselves informed.

The Ipod takes up such a large marketshare and it is a product that is frankly geared towards Mac users in a world that is dominated by PC users. Don't' tell me it's not geared towards mac users either. The thing manages all the MP3 files on your hard drive AND on the device its own way. That is the Mac way. Hiding your files and giving you a GUI.

If Mozilla teamed up with Google. And did two things I would drop my hotmail account for my gmail account and use Thunderbird.
1. have Thunderbird able to work as a client for GMail.
2. convince Google to fix GoogleTalk so that it is more of a competitor. (NO FILESHARING????)
