I know, but imagine how attractive it must smell there for them. I've seen these guys draining the last drops from nearly emptied beer bottles that have stood around for days, they don't care much about how healthy it is.
just comparing a search for the (alleged) GB qoute with a search for another misqoute, it seems the latter returns mostly pages explaining it's not an exact qoute, and has been taken out of context and such, while the first hardly shows anyone doubting the validity of the quote.
George Bush, Made to Robert Sherman of American Atheist Press at the Chicago airport, August 27 1988. The exchange appeared in the Boulder Daily Camera on Monday February 27, 1989. It can also be found in "Free Enquiry" magazine, Fall 1988 issue, Volume 8, Number 4, page 16.: "I don't know that atheists should be considered citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God."

Indeed. So now, the only thing you need to dos someone, is to generate some strange traffic that you know will trigger the ddos alert, and automatically that branch of their network will be closed from the rest. Since disrupting the network is usually the purpose of these attacks, this is hardly protection.
Yes, but just like the content industry is not interested in the opinion of the minority that is the slashdot readers, it won't care if the <1% audiophiles get pissed off. They just want joe average to stop copying their cd's
My thoughts exactly. Presumably, drug dealers are not in it for the money, they want to provide a service to the community which, regretably, costs them money which they have to get from piracy.
This probably is a misqoute though, otherwise there are some seriously deranged personalities at work here.
Better yet, let all soldiers compete in some huge MMORPG. The only problem is, how do you convince the losing country to hand over all it's land and women.
but letting people like you breed means we are increasing the probability of future cases of diabetics.
Same goes for "regular" transplants. That's why I'm not an organ donor. (I do however give blood regularly, so I guess I'm not completely consistent.)
Anyway I'm glad my gf and I don't want to have children, I couldn't stand being responsible for all those colorblind grandchildren.:P
After another pop-up hell day with IE, I decided to give Mozilla a try. I must say, not bad at all. Although it's a bit slower than IE, the javascript options are great. Now let's hope it runs stable.
Of course, disabeling pop-ups is theft, because everything on the internet is so cheap because of the ads. I wonder how long it will take them to figure that out.
When are they finally going to stop using the grid-like roads that only allow you to create an american looking city? Why not use vectored roads, with realistic curves, so you could recreate Paris, or Amsterdam, or some mountain town, or whatever.
That would be a game I'd buy immediatly.
SSH is encrypted, and can only be attacked via a man-in-the-middle attack, and any good ssh client will notice this and whine.
Actually the easiest way to attack SSH is the man-looking-over-your-shoulder attack, or the man-installing-the-keylogger attack, and neither will cause the ssh client to whine about anything.
Telnet (and ftp, same deal) will do just fine when you're on a switched network. (As long as it's not super-duper important stuff you're doing.)
What I'm concerned about, is why you think the error is that Hex isn't a month: I'd say the math error is far worse for a nerd than messing up something as trivial as the identifiers for 0..11
Moderator abuse galore... How the hell is this offtopic?
Anyway, it seems to me it's the same thing as Gates not giving a speech at a hypothetical internet user group, because it's not called MS-Internet.
(Hey, IE is the predominant tool for accessing the internet, so he could claim that "by convention", whatever that means, it should be MS-Internet)
Stallman is doing more damage than good with this pathetic ego trip of his.
Sorry to drag MS into this flaimbait-ridden discussion, but it was the first example that sprang to mind.
Maybe you could make a peer-to-peer rollercoaster network. Put a piece of it in everyone's backyard, so there's no individual to sue if things go wrong.
You obviously haven't played Civilization enough.
Anarchy stops all tax and trade revenues and halts scientific progress. Anarchy can not be maintained for long. Even despotism is better than anarchy.
The train falls off the bridge and into the water? How is this different from any other railway bridge?
