    Cinderblocks are a BAD thing to use, they can easily crush under the weight of a vehicle causing a sudden drop. steel wheels, wooden blocks yes.

    probably, back then it was easy enough to just steal someone's credentials and use their system for free... until the pesky government found all those extra charges and international leased line usage fees (pre-internet internet) which added up to more than a new car is worth these days. my buddies always had the latest doom updates though.

    the fundamental thing they're missing is that computers are perfect in their instruction execution, there will be more 'human like' AI when you have a system that doesn't always get the correct answer, forgets and deliberately ignores instructions.

    good god man, what are you hauling? railway carriages? that sized engine is almost unheard of where I live. I used to run a 2.4l turbo diesel which would comfortably tow a 3 metric ton load. I would have liked a 3L for those bigger jobs like pulling houses off their foundations.

    yeah, 'tis a great idea but the problem is legitimate ammo supply chains acquiring this 'spiked' ammo and selling it on to legitimate users.

    I'm working my way through a bag of wheatmeal flour over two years old, tastes fine and I'm not dead yet. it has been in an opened paper bag (closed only by folding the lip down) for most of it's life, only last month did I tip it into a plastic container to check for critters. none found. also I'm sure my baking powder is far far older than 6 months, I haven't baked in about a year, I'm sure it'll be fine also.

    the middle east is already flooded with c4 filled rifle ammunition which will destroy the rifle and likely the person holding it too. if you're over there be very careful what ammunition you're using, especially in your little plastic liberator.
