    Why don't you guys ever have any articles on underclocking? Are underclockers really that bad? What are some of the advantages of underclocking?

    - Underclock a 2.0GHz to 1.0Ghz, and you can throw away your CPU fan.

    - Underclock to 500MHz and you can get rid of your case fan.

    - Underclock to 4.77Mhz and you can run older versions of Fligh Simulator.

    - Underclock to 4.0 MHz and you can pretend you are running a Z80.

    - Underclock too 100KHz and you can actually watch your instructions exeecute.

    Forget about antigravity boot, warp travel, and the like. I think the most important discovery is that those ultra cold particles they are shooting are probably responisble for that icy-cold spot in my bed. Seems to happen at about 3:00AM PST, which is probably about the time they get around to firing up the equipment in Grenoble, after their espresso and pastries.

    BTW, I've always wondered, is the matter that has been sucked into black holes considered is the total matter of the universe equation? It seems that everywhere they look, they find another black hole. Maybe there's alot of unaccounted matter out there.

    When STNG first came out, I thought it would be cool to have a series showing what it would be like to be a rookie at the lowest rank on the Enterprise. Stuff like replicators that didn't always work right: "I wanted a Gornburger, not this Klingon worm crap.". Or low resolution holodecks. Or "Do I smell burning ham - or did Kirk singe himself again? Hey, what's with this red uniform?"

    Well, they did the same thing with Smalltalk. It took M$FT at least 20 years to come up with a somewhat stable version. How long do you think it would take them to rip-off ^H^H^H^H^H^H^H develop a Plan 9-like OS?

    (BTW, the do give credit to Inferno, an embedded little brother of Plan 9.)

    Why can't M$FT be prosecuted for Denial of Service?

    If I install, let's say FreeBSD, then I install Windows, it will wipe out the FreeBSd boot manager (without asking), thus denying me the FreeBSD service. Why does M$ think they own my boot track?
