Imperial Stormtroopers were originally clone troopers, but their accelerated aging process caused their physical skills and abilities to deteriorate so they were replaced by non-clone volunteers and conscripts.
First Order Stormtroopers composed the army of the junta that arose out of the fallen empire, and were comprised of individuals taken from their parents at birth.
Long story short, it depends on where you are in the storyline as to the level of diversity in the Stormtrooper ranks.
I can't - the Stormtroopers are all wearing helmets, so I can't tell their gender/ethnicity. But I'm sure Lucas put a representative sample of humanity in there. I bet he even has some transgendered Stormtroopers and you won't find that in Star Trek no siree. Man, that George Lucas thought of everything!
I watched the live stream on this newfangled internet thingy and I must say, I felt a little bit of the old excitement I experienced as a kid when watching the Apollo missions on our old black & white TV back in the day. Sticking that landing (on a friggin drone ship fer Chrissakes) for the second time in a row is one heckuva feat of engineering,
Tell you what, those SpaceX kids are welcome on my lawn anytime.
I'm not trying to form a moral equivalence between the two.
Then why are you bemoaning the lack of left-wing "outrage" on the matter? If I could point you to some left-wing outrage on the chimera research funding moratorium, would you feel better? Here you go:
You wouldn't want any outrage until an actual policy has been made, would you? Where's the fun in that?
Of course, I might also ask why you have a need for some sort of counterbalancing outrage from "the left" to begin with. Perhaps you should just relax and stop getting worked up over things that haven't even been decided yet.
Great idea! Let's make policy based on the 0.000001% case.
What great idea are you talking about? I don't believe I expressed one. All I did was put YOUR argument on display. To re-cap, you believe abortion should be illegal, presumably because contraception is widely available and sexually active women either choose to use it or they don't. Have I got that right?
Since you apparently can't be bothered to read the info in the NIH link I provided for you, I'll spell it out for you: It is estimated that 5% of rapes result in pregnancy. Do I need to do the rest of the math for you?
Tell you what, why don't you just tell me how many women you think should be forced by the state to bear and raise the offspring of their attackers. If it's more than zero, you might not be as conservative as you think.
Dumb paternalist Marxists. What a bunch of maroons. Good thing we conservatives are prepared to intervene with force when a woman and her doctor are about to do something stupid.
This thing that grew up and out mostly because of the lack of interference from government.
Sorry, this thing that grew up and out STARTED with government interference.
Thant's what they WANT you to think!
Nope, Linus still leads the project, and he is employee of non-profit 501(c)(6) trade association
Yet for some reason, he has never been selected as "Employee of the Month".
no, but it will tell you to take out the trash.
Meanwhile, the NIH is lifting it's ban on chimera research.
Why are we not on Mars yet?
Because Mars doesn't currently have an open carry law.
So when they make a font change like this I'm guessing it changes all past texts retroactively? Or do texts and e-mails embedd the image not the font?
They can pry my previously texted pistol emojis from my cold dead hands.
Everyone hates all-caps.
NOT ME!
It's a gaming system only Rube Goldberg could love.
It's dumb, shallow, and boring. It won't last.
That's what I said about Starbucks.
I there nothing we can't blame him for?
...weird, slashdot futzed up that link to first order stormtroopers.

According to Wookipedia, You've got your clone troopers, (clones of Jango Fett), you've got your Imperial Stormtroopers (described as "the ultimate evolution of clone troopers") , and you've got your First Order Stormtroopers.

Or, more commonly, the Vulcans with their "mind meld" and the Betazoid with their ESP?
LOL, point taken.
Does whoever wrote the summary know that Elizabeth Warren's day job is as a sitting United States Senator? Apparently not.

Perhaps the lefties are holding their outrage until they see if the NIH will resume funding in this area...it is after all a moratorium while the NIH "considers a possible policy revision in this area."
You wouldn't want any outrage until an actual policy has been made, would you? Where's the fun in that?

Actually, shouldn't Pac-Man be banned?
No, but we may need to pass a law mandating the bathrooms that Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde are supposed to use.
Only a Republican would enjoy watching someone else play Tetris.
That's because they like things that trickle down.
I feel the same way about golf.
We are now one step closer to the future prophesied by Judge in the Book of Idiocracy. Exciting times.

Women have no agency. Of course we should allow them to kill babies - they can't help it if they don't have any self control.
Preach it bro! Women in this day and age are in complete control of their bodies and should never need abortion as an option!
