I see this "Not Educated" meme all the time. Mostly by nitwits (not accusing you of being one BTW) who think because they are "Well Read/Literate" that means that their "Education" is complete and anyone who is not has "No Education". Nothing could be further from the truth. People who are illiterate are not "Uneducated" for the most part (especially in the past). They had more practical education. Most of the so-called modern, literate, educated populace would quickly starve to death if nearly everything they needed to survive weren't provided to them by seemingly less educated peers. The idea that somehow "Literate Education" is the only meaningful/useful educate is complete nonsense.

Adding a good helping of philosophy into the mix can sometimes help people look at something from another angle which in turn can add value to the scientific method.

Why? Because you say so? That's what every bullshit, non-scientific religion and fantasy world-view claims. Science existed before Philosophy. Science is learning. It is recognizing the way the world works, remembering it, and using that to your advantage. The most basic of life-forms do this in one form or another. All the way down to the simplest of Viruses (the knowledge/learning is stored in the DNA/RNA). Philosophy and religion is just mental masturbation.

Do you even know what you are talking about? You ALWAY pay city/local income tax in the place where you work, not where you live. Property tax is about the only tax that is based on where you live. In most cases, for large metropolitan areas, a good portion of county/regional property taxes are specifically earmarked for the adjacent major metropolitan city. So your argument is complete bunk.

The external was a simple coil/linear antennae. The new antennae's in phones use a design that is "Fractal" in nature. This "Fractal" nature for antennae's leading to a much larger signal gain over traditional antennae was discovered by a German Boy Scout working on his Ham radio license. He experimented with different designs, and found a clear signal gain the more he made the antenna fractal in nature (he didn't immediately understand that it was fractal, but, he had the data plotted against various designs that were basically loops of more and more internal opposing bends (think more and more pointed star instead of circle). When this data/finding was analyzed and he began working with experts in the field, and himself learned more about fractals, he ended up with a patent on the concept. That is why "All of the Sudden" phones went from having external antennae to internal. The internal is a "Fractal" antennae that can be much, much, much more compact while have much better gain etc.

Shite! You can break just about ANY padlock with a 4 foot piece of 1/2" steel pipe. Simply slide it through the padlock hasp, and twist (trust me, you'll have plenty of leverage) and it will either snap, or what it is attached to will snap. Either way, you're in. Same goes for chains on fences with padlocks. In fact, 4 foot is probably overstating it. Hell I've done it with like a 2ft piece. Takes no more than about 20 seconds. Doesn't require significant strength. Physics - it's your friend. Or has often been said, "Give me but a long enough, and strong enough lever, and I can move the world!"
