I bought the Automatic dongle too... works like a charm.
With my iPhone clipped to the front panel of the car, it all looks and works like a modern smart vehicle.
They are NOT building new islands... Rather they are building military infrastructures on existing islands that are center of ownership disputes.
If you read asian news... You'd see that China singly declares ownership of lots of islands in this ocean region... single handedly announced 30 days of no-fishing for all countries around the area... which caused lots of people to starve because they don't have the ability to stand up against Chinese Navy.
They have now deployed military presence and airports all over the ocean region... US is challenging their airspace ownership by moving both Navy and AirForce patrol into the region. They repeatedly got asked by the Chinese to leave as it was their airspace, but US replied simply "This is international airspace".
I'd like to see the Chinese having a ball big enough to open fire first....
If you run windows... you can still use the airplay feature, but only within itunes... which means you can play video/music/photo slides onto apple tv....
If your PC was a Mac... you can easily do this...
Buy an AppleTV ($69). Hook both to the same wifi network.
From your Mac, you can stream the screen content (or iTunes explicitly for better quality) directly to the AppleTV which has HDMI connection to the TV.
Now to make things even better... use ipod/ipad/iphone to install an app called rowmote (there are other apps)... which allows you to remotely control your Mac from far away as long as it's connected to the same wifi network.
The only thing is... in order to see the screen downstairs to use the remote control... you'd have to manually begin the video stream from Mac to AppleTV... from then you can remote control
The feature you mentioned is called Music Match, a subscribed service... and it has been around for quite a long time... this is not a new feature that came with Apple Music....
I just have a feeling this "free" version will do things like Superfish on Lenovo... stealing info, or gathering non-private data to boost their advertising campaign....
So I'm very very curious to know how an unoccupied car "appears suspicious" to the cops... and based on this they had the rights to break into it and blow up stuffs inside...
Not only that, the guy that owned the car was arrested even though they were not able to prove that they guy drove the car there. Couldn't he have arrived at the mall with someone and that someone drove?
But wait!!!! They didn't have the probable cause to begin with... WTF?
Uhhh.... what you suggest is probably not a benefit overall...
Running a few VMs on a laptop is already a resource constrains... even if you run a minimal setup of XP, you'll still have a horrible time trying to power on 8 VMs.
I have done this on a MacMini before as I tried to simulate a network for a program I wrote, and I literally had to return the MacMini for a swap with iMac having top configurations.... Still had a horrible time with 12 nodes
Regardless how powerful your laptop is, I dont think it can do 16VMs at a time.
I come from a country where small thugs run business in a jurisdicitonal area....
In which area, the hoodlum gets to collect cash from small businesses in exchange for protection... but in fact they dont really provide any protection, that's just the cost for being able to run a business. Whoever refuses to pay, their business gets smashed/burnt...
This company we're reading about is exactly that and I hold the US government agencies responsible to make very very very sure that their entire group of decision makers go to jail... and compensate every penny of damage that has been done to LabMD.
Also, I expect government agencies to protect businesses... not destroying them. I can understand that the FTC was mis-led by the company and in turn destroyed LabMD... I want to know what they will do for LabMD, or the people that used to own it.
I dont know guys... I know whistle blowing is not a crime... but exposing the contents of confidential information that may pose threats to Sony employees... isn't that a crime? Don't we have enough to just put that SOB in jail?
Upon learning about this incident... I immediately logged in and changed my pw at anthem.com. I've also updated passwords on every other thing that I have access to on the internet....
So it's great that the retail companies are taking these things off their shelves. It's even better that companies like WMT reach out to their vendors to clear things up. Thanks!... to the FDA and to the retailers.
But wouldn't it be very very very useful if the FDA lists the names of those offending products? Cuz there are a lot of innocent consumers who have already brought the products... they need to know these product names so that they can get rid of them.
Chen is out of his mind... the iMessage example was pretty much mandating his competitor help him succeed....
On the other hand.... making an app available on which platform is entirely a developer's choice... If he makes a game for iPhone and not for BlackBerry... what are you gonna do to him? Sue?
I can understand allowing the feds to hack TOR users... but VPN? Pretty much 100% of corporate environments these days use VPN... they make it sound like VPN is such an underground tool that harbors illegal activities.
Disagreed....
Every keylogger is built with some sort of "stealing" intention in mind.... I dont for a second believe that things like this are made to encourage better security.
If this dude is lucky enough... he can actually steal usernames/passwords and URLs and lots of other things... but then again at public places to steal like airports and hotels... people don't normally use MS wireless keyboards... they simply use tablets/laptops... that's why I used the term "lucky".
Throughout my career... I have been at two jobs where background investigation was not done....
I'm not saying you should give up... but while pursuing a job in this field... you should also consider other alternatives.... They may be far as good as IT... but better than nothing.
Given not a few but several incidents... it's on you and not anybody else's fault... Cleaning yourself up is good.... good for you and for everybody else... I applaud that and wish you much luck!
1. Powerful wave movements can rip equipments apart
2. Salt water is such a damaging factor to the equipments
So my thought is that not only a power farm is located in a mild whether area... but also weather forecast data should be used to relocate the farm over an enormous area of ocean surface to avoid damage to equipment... and yet that area is still inside the national territory waters of any particular country... Otherwise they'd have to find a way to protect their investments in international waters.
To get over the damaging nature of salt water... I guess the main materials used to create the farm arms have to be plastic-like... Any metal is such a suicidal design.... particularly iron.
Couple years ago I interviewed at SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) in San Diego... I chose not to work for them simply because they were being hammered by Anonymous about the fact that Sony was taking legal actions against a 17 year old for jailbreaking their PS....
Now this... Boy I'm glad I'm not a Sony employee... looks like they've been making lots of enemies with the general public and now it's the time that everything pays back... I want them to be able to recover and keep offering employment... but at the same time, I want them to stop being such mean and hateful to people who are able to crack the PS devices... or whatever other devices they make... Jailbreaking is legal remember?
In 2000 I used to do what you're doing... I ran a static IP block on my home ADSL line which was only under 1Mbps. Ever since Google Apps, I switched and have been happy since.
I imagine working with the listed providers is almost zero results because you wouldn't know where to begin and even if you got to speak to their right person, it would still change nothing.
If the blocks occur all at the same time, I do agree that your IP was obtained from the same source... if you can find that source... you can reason with them... working with the big corps won't be a good idea.
Not only monitoring system should look at historical growth versus estimated time left to full, it should also keep track of storage addition, so that I can smartly tell us 3, 2, 1 months ahead, each with one email... and then it should also keep track of sudden increase and send an emergency alert if for example the past 7 days have climbed more than a whole month before... stuffs like that.
All existing monitoring tools these days are not setup that way and I wish folks get more creative and dilligent with their works.
I'm working for a company that provides services.... and here's my experience with this
The customer asks to get a high-level person from my company to speak to them directly... asking them to acknowledge the issue and provide an estimates of resolution. In which communication, the provider side also promises to provide a periodic update until resolution is reached. After a certain threshold is reached and the solution is not developed, the customer will cease all funding/payments and escalate all the way to the very highest person in both organizations. This is how you pressure the provider side to live up with their products/services...
I bought the Automatic dongle too... works like a charm. With my iPhone clipped to the front panel of the car, it all looks and works like a modern smart vehicle.

I'm so glad I didn't take a job at Sony after my last time being interviewed by them....
Agree with you both about two things
1. Powerful wave movements can rip equipments apart
2. Salt water is such a damaging factor to the equipments
