    I don't understand your problem. Spore is great! you can play a simple game of eat or be eaten or any one of four Real Time Strategy games.

    You just have to sit though a boring and irrelevant link movie between RTS levels. Just because we were all told that it would be one big game that let you evolve through levels and learn skills and stuff, doesn't mean that's what they have to release. In Spore, if you click the right area or kill a monster, you win that skill! Great!

    They just have to hype the game enough to get more sales than it cost to make the game.

    Most people don't realize just how important the olfactory senses are. They're responsible for taste, not just smell and people should be careful that they don't assume the new technology can replace it.

    In short: you only get one nose, don't blow it.

    go to this books Amazon page and read the sample provided. It is written slightly below the 8th grade "what I did for my summer vacation" level.

    I think buying a copy is the least you could do for someone suffering from that level of illiteracy.

    The big problem I see here is the simple fact is the concept of "defect" is subjective.

    Most people would agree that a disease that will cause death at a very early age or remove the child's ability to function would be a defect.

    But, like he said, where does it end? Is red hair a defect? What if they find the specific gene for sexual preference? Is that now a defect?

    Is being under/over a certain height or high probability of being overweight?

    Brown eyes? Left handedness?

    Where does it start and, if it's expensive to screen, will it only allow the rich to be "defect-free"?

    If Wine had had the Windows Codebase (-4%) to start with, I doubt it would have taken 15 years. They had to do it starting from scratch and with no help from the codebase it was starting with.

    OpenJDK started with 96% of Sun's Java codebase.

    To be fair, he separated the Monsanto based seed from his own variety and was planting it intentionally. The Wikipedia article states this directly.

    He would have been able to keep his own variety growing but chose to destroy all his seed and buy all new.

    Yes, but the number of rabbits with dementia is huge based on my cartoon viewing. So at least they have a good sized population to test it with.

    You may want to speak to QMI, they're the group that handles ISO9000 and 14000 registration. They also can refer you to organizations that provide training on how to manage they (rather huge) process of getting it all written down.
