Whiplash/Whipslash.... I for one welcome our new News for Nerds overlords + agree with the above. Sure, it's got Trump's name in it so clickbait... but why is this here[slashdot.org]?
Except it is habit forming, labeled addictive, by Harvard research. Look it up yourself. Around 10% of daily users studied became dependant. It does have side effects on the mind. It may not be as bad as opiates, but to say it's safe is a huge leap.
Bitingduck: Those same tablets can run the app. Did you seriously not think of that? Honest question.
HTML5 as mentioned in another post is an excellent choice. An app is great as well. As an average consumer, I'd say an app is what I'd pay for. I can read on my phone or tablet.
You'd get the most bang for your buck by making the app.
FYI: Your complaining doesn't actually have an effect on the problem. You just make us scroll slightly farther to get to something interesting. If you want to do something that's actually useful, volunteer to help the homeless in your area. If you want to keep venting about how bad the federal government is, have at it.
You're so wrong I don't know where to begin.
Background: RN, meaning I know a little bit about health. Lifelong struggle with allergies because genetics. For example, I'm allergic to all cillins, mycins, and sporins. If I get sick, there's almost nothing they can prescribe for me.
I am sensitive to so many chemicals that switching to organic changed my life. I have never had your fear based outbreak and have a higher quality of life. It's not my religion. I don't preach Organic. I use it so I don't get upset stomach and random illnesses because my body isn't built to handle the chemicals.
It's cool. You rant on and live your life. I hear ignorance makes you happier.
Faux pas to reply to oneself, but I want to add that I have ran and hiked barefoot, with minimalist shoes, steel toed boots, combat boots, hiking shoes, running shoes, skater shoes, sandals, flip flops, and it was all approaching the runs or hikes appropriate for the conditions on the ground.
Trail runner here. You make a lot of excuses. Zero injuries due to no ankle support in a decade of it. That includes intense off trail hiking. Running on cement or asphalt or grass will get you. For some unknown reason running on dirt and over rocks and angled surfaces seem.. natural. Maybe you should focus on learning proper technique before blaming your gear.
Happened to me today for the first time since switching to AT&T (prepaid).
I pulled over and sat down in a local McDonald's to chat with my wife who was in the waiting room for a doctor's visit.
My 3G connection in a low density area on the outskirts of the city went from full bars to 0, then an exclamation point on the cellular network signal to indicate that I am unable to be connected to the network, at least for data.
The McDonald's WiFi is provided by AT&T and just outside of network range the signal returns to full strength and normal usage. I am not a novice and did basic troubleshooting on my Android 5.1 non-damaged fully-functioning smartphone and it had to be intentionally disabled.
Sure, there is a WiFi network there. However, there are many obvious reasons why I or any customer would want to be on a public hotspot. Let's be real.
"An experimental Air Force rocket, dubbed Super Strypi, failed seconds after launch."
Everywhere in the article it doesn't list in seconds but "a minute."
HEY, ASSHOLES, QUIT WITH YOUR SENSATIONALISM. THIS IS NEWS FOR NERDS NOT GULLIBLE HOUSEWIVES.
Hi. I do tech support for drones amongst other things. The first controller, drone, and third party sources are NOT accurate. They are there as a reference point only.
Did you ever hear of the game telephone?
I'll assume not. The underlying idea is that the more people involved in a transfer of information means a higher likelihood of the information changing. Think about that.
That's not true! I'm comparable to a power user, knowing more than average for windows osx and Linux and have been since a teenager. I never quite met anyone to show me the ropes. I'm self taught. I never did proper programming until school because I was a true loner and wanted to learn the right way to code, not get shitty out the gate and learning bad habits. After two semesters of c++ I crave to learn more C and C++. I'm 29 and starting but have the passion. I doubt I'm a snowflake. More likely you are wrong.
Localization.
Military, law, and medical professionals use the word female constantly. Imagine a world outside your bubble.
Lol
Sorry I didn't make it clear: The reason his Godliness chose that look for the country's OS is because he's known as a huge fan of Mac products.
The official North Korean "Red Star OS" is a Mac clone Linux distro. There are YouTube videos of it in action.

Good luck! I'm behind seven proxies!
*woosh* They mixed measurements, friend. I recognize they can be converted, my post even included why they did what they did for you. Are you daft?
