In the fuse draw of a local college electronics lab I found a length of 6inch nail lovingly cut to length with cleaned ends, painted round the middle with the designation "10000A, slow-blow" (Apparently one of the techs had a dead scope that couldn't be powered up - it just blew the fuse. Hence the nail. Bung it in and now you know where the hard short *was*. It's the melted patch with the smoke coming out...)

Rip it out. All of it. Every last DLL. 95 didn't have any of that. And 98 could run fine without (check 98 lite). It was only bundled and mixed in this deep precisely to make it hard to unbundle. And to those third party apps that now depend on the IE rendering engine? Goodbye and good riddance. Maybe the replacements will be available for Linux and OSX.
For the family to be identifiable as a family and not a bunch of adult graves miles and years apart, they'll have all had to die at the same time. Doesn't mean it was necessarily common back then, though.
I'm colorblind. At a guess I'd say that means that 90% of my ability to tell red from green (or brown, or grey, or pink...) is missing. Put two colors next to each other and I can usually get it. Telling if that indicator LED is red or green? Unlikely.
Sure, and I always tell the mechanic "only socket spanners, never use the monkey wrench" and "solder, don't weld". Micromanaging PHBs. If you don't trust my choice of tools to do the job, why do you trust me to do the job??? May your boss mandate Microsoft Edlin...
Apparently, the least biodegradable substance is silicone. So our most enduring mark on the sands of eternity will be "breast enhancements".
I'd show you some examples, but they kinda fell to pieces sometime around 200BC. What we have left is the stuff that preserves well.
That's the problem, right their. Their "own will". Best to legislate and monitor *that* out of existence, it's for the Sake Of The Children!
If you want something without giving anything in return, what you are talking about isn't capitalism.
Oh yeah? Take a look along Wall street.

The last time a monarch witheld "royal assent" (i.e. didn't just sign) was Queen Anne, in 1708.
I got a freeloader. Just long weekends at festivals for me, but so far so good.
You are not a *real* sysadmin until you have hand edited sendmail.cf. Corollary: you are not sane if you have done this more than once.

Since when has US policy been rational? That's what scares me...
Wipe private data doesn't always work, see bug:- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462831
So how about fixing it before adding to it?

Back in the day, we put them on boats and sent them to America.
Can I have some indication of which tab has a flash app that's decided to chew all my cpu, fire up the fan and attempt to cook my crotch???
There is a joke you can make: "America, land of the free"...
Now she can look as good the morning after as she did the night before!
How about a bit north of Scotland, maybe?
PalmOS? Dedicated CPU??? (Not sure if the idea of a perl CPU should even be mentioned...)

It's pretty damn hard to provide evidence that WMDs are being destroyed when THERE ARE NO WMDs
Unless it involves interns...
