In the fuse draw of a local college electronics lab I found a length of 6inch nail lovingly cut to length with cleaned ends, painted round the middle with the designation "10000A, slow-blow" (Apparently one of the techs had a dead scope that couldn't be powered up - it just blew the fuse. Hence the nail. Bung it in and now you know where the hard short *was*. It's the melted patch with the smoke coming out...)

Or is the subject of ongoing legal proceedings. Or is deemed "personal". Or we don't like the look of you. Or we just plain can't be bothered. Face it, if we want you to know it, we'll tell you.
Rip it out. All of it. Every last DLL. 95 didn't have any of that. And 98 could run fine without (check 98 lite). It was only bundled and mixed in this deep precisely to make it hard to unbundle. And to those third party apps that now depend on the IE rendering engine? Goodbye and good riddance. Maybe the replacements will be available for Linux and OSX.
For the family to be identifiable as a family and not a bunch of adult graves miles and years apart, they'll have all had to die at the same time. Doesn't mean it was necessarily common back then, though.
I'm colorblind. At a guess I'd say that means that 90% of my ability to tell red from green (or brown, or grey, or pink...) is missing. Put two colors next to each other and I can usually get it. Telling if that indicator LED is red or green? Unlikely.
Sure, and I always tell the mechanic "only socket spanners, never use the monkey wrench" and "solder, don't weld". Micromanaging PHBs. If you don't trust my choice of tools to do the job, why do you trust me to do the job??? May your boss mandate Microsoft Edlin...
