At the beach as a kid, I watched the waves. There's a saying "The seventh wave goes furthest" and it seems that about that fraction of waves are about double the average. Counting them, after a big wave the next big one seems to be seven later more often than not. Unless it was windy, or a boat was passing, or it just plain wasn't. So how high will the wave be like 10 minutes from now? Haven't got a clue. But I've got an iPhone app that will tell me how high the tide will be 10 months from now.
Remember, English food is bland, so if you get "pub lunch" you will need to cover everything with lots of English mustard. Better to go for some Indian meals, but even there Englishness has blanded everything down. Ask for a "Vindaloo" or better yet a "Bangalore Phal" and make sure you get it extra spicy. As for drink, there are parts of England that make a speciality out of cider (Sumerset and Herefordshire in particular) but anything called "scrumpy" (more natural, unprocessed cider) is fun for a jug or two.
OK, this is for the retard who modded me troll. According to ANWR the reserves are between 6 and 16 billion barrels (recoverable). And from the CIA FactBook the USA used 20.68 million barrels a day in 2007. Generous estimates 16B/20M ~= 800 days. Worst estimate, 6B/24M (2010 estimate) ~= 250 days. So, under a year to under 3 years. Definitely not 20 years reserves.
But in Germany you get packs of seven, one for each day of the week. And in France the "nine pack" with two-a-day for the weekend. And in England a full twelve. January, February...
Since the shareholders own the company, the board and CEO work for the shareholders. That is why they must maximize shareholder value.
You've missed a step there. The board and the CEO work for the shareholders, and the shareholders almost always (but don't have to) tell them to maximize shareholder value.
My first linux install was at Easter 94. A friend of a friend was back visiting his folks in Canada, and had left his dorm room unlocked. So me and the friend (hiya Mandel!) put linux on his machine. Couldn't get it out of 40 column mode, though...

Don't know about photoshop, but I've had to resort to using imagemagick because gimp is so user hostile.

Another 20 years? Nope, if we're lucky it's another 2.

They're displaying their site on my hardware using my time to view it. If they don't like me blocking their ads - tough.
These are not mutually exclusive.
