The directories with the music on the iPod are just hidden in the finder. Using Terminal, you can easily access them. Or, even easier: apple-G opens the "go to folder" dialog, in which you can print the path to the iPod's music directories (easily found by rooting through/Volumes/ipodname/")
Who needs a fucking hex editor when you've got terminal and copy/paste?
I don't know if any of you have ever had to work on that 650 chasis, but it's a fucking bitch to deal with. The undercarriage is where the hard drive lives, and it's bolted to the outside, so actually accessing the bay it lives in is an act in near futility.
And they kept that damn chasis around until the 7100's...
Truly, an amazing feat to deal with that obnoxious piece of design.
Oh, and the sharpened metal edges inside the case are murder on the knuckles.
Look, turd burglar, the best games from our collective childhoods were made by teams of three and four men sitting in a room and hacking away at code to get it to fit onto a 512k floppy, a 16k Atari cart, or something even more unfathomably miniscule.
And they still rocked. I'll bet you played the fuck out of Zelda, and it wasn't even in 3D.
Indie games can be just as good, if not better than commercial releases. Just because they don't look photorealistic doesn't make them any less playable.
YOU, sir, have made the common mistake that great graphics = great gameplay. This is NOT true.
It's significantly easier to roll out fiber and fat pipes to folks who live a maximum of 500 miles from the CO than it is to run those same cables out to the rural ass areas of middle America.
Fat pipes from city to city are also more costly than in the often-time-pickled Korea, or the lightly-dusted-with-population Sweden.
Sharp put out a 3D laptop earlier this year. It was complete shite, and gave you a headache after about five minutes of use.
This is NOT the 3D display from Paycheck.
There are two technologies that MUST vanish: digital scent replication, and flicker-goggle-esque 3D effects. Both are complete wastes of money, time, and electrons.
I bought my G4 400 PowerBook from a whore for $100 two years ago. Not even lying.
Ever since I got it, I consistently get about 2 hours out of the battery in high power use mode. I've never really played with the energy saving settings, so this semi-short life is understandable.
The real interesting thing here is that my battery has remained fully functional since I got the Powerbook. It's not lost any of it's stability or duration in the entire life of the thing. When I got it, it was already a year old, so after three years, it's still going strong and consistently putting in 2 hours.
The odd thing is that I have a friend who has a G3 iBook (white plastic case, 600 Mhz) and his battery went from 2 hours to 1 hour, and now he can't use it at all. There's a real difference between the two machines. I think you really get what you pay for with the G4.
I know I sure did.
Incidentally, the whore worked at my company.... I was not procuring her services.
I met the guy who builds these at the Robolypmpics back in March. I've got some photos of this guy and his companions, along with some other bipedal robots at http://www.gism.net/photos/gallery/robot/robot.htm l
Johnny boy release his first album?
Let the Eagle Soar, Feat Jay-Z and Nelly
As if I wasn't getting enough free CD's in my mailbox, now I'll get four a day instead of simply 1.
Now That's progress.
because i am a troll, dammit!

Geez, first they get .aero, then .travel...
Fucking aerospace industry.
See my latest journal entry for some TLD's worth instating.

No.
Just pop off the flats and rearrange...
Should take about 10 minutes, which is about the time it takes me to become frustrated with the real thing and chuck it across the room.
Does this mean someone will be porting NetWare to the Xbox, PS2, iPod, Toaster, Ti-82, PDP-8......
No Neo Geo? Unconsionable! The most collectable of all consoles, and it's not here.
Also missing: Apple Pipin.
Failure to do so will result in Dom!
Doesn't Stallman constantly exhort people not to drive because they'll get themselves killed?

Except I would hire him to wash dishes, make the beds, do my laundry, dance for me....
Just what I need, an input device for my PC that will make it go crazy and try to flush me out the airlock.
Thanks Ebay!
I guess it's too much to ask of Symantec to host the CDC's website, and the Whacked Mac Archives....

Doesn't XP Service Pack 2 finally make its way onto Windows Auto-update tomorrow?
It's not just slow, it's Java slow.
Fucktard, the copyright weasel.

Well, really, she was a whore after hours, but that was on company property....
Fortunately, the company did not provide compensation for services rendered to employees, and no employees partook, as far as I know....
She was kinda nasty anyway.

Well, not really a fix....
BROADCAST EVERYTHING ONLINE! There's no censorship in these here hills.
Abandon your televisions, throw away your radios! Head to the hills, and bring your yagi!
Television needs to die. Corporate radio needs to die. These FCC rulings are just going to make that happen faster.
