    They should open Lotus Notes. Its a great product, but the client runs only in Windows. It can kill Exchange easily.

    How does the customer prove that he has been phished? There was a money transfer that the customer says that he didn't do. How does the bank know he is not lying and he indeed took the money?

    Next time I receive a phishing email disguised as being from my bank, I will go to a cyber-cafe, transfer some money and then say I did't do it.

    Just wondering.

    The problem for M$ is that they need time to prepare administrators and there are already many (for the Cluster Market) skilled and experienced Beowulf experts. And its not easy to create the critical mass of MCXXXX needed to compete.

    If the issue is the documentation, how can it possibly be that Solaris and HP beat Linux and Windows?

    There are hundreds of books, sites, guides, mailing lists, etc for both Linux and Windows, but for Solaris and HP there is a lot less of documentation (The only books about Solaris are the ones by Sun, for example).

    And for skilled sysadmins, how many people can buy a Sun server just for learning Solaris in your basement? (or an HP).

    Which is more of a typical example of Science challenging our preconceptions than actual "oddity".

    What I find odd is relationship between the mathematical constant equal to a circle's circumference divided by its diameter and the total number of genes in the human genoma.

    There are 3,141 genes and pi begins with 3.141........

    Thats odd.

    What the Vatican is saying (and has been saying for some time, at least since the early 80s, when I went to a Catholic School) is that the Genesis is not to be taken literally. They even agree with the Documentary Hipotesis, which states that the Genesis was not written by Moses, but several centuries later.

    This has nothing to do with ID. It does contradict Creationism, but not ID.

    I have to work over very slow modem connections. Using vi and the set -o vi option in the korn shell help me a lot. Vi was designed to do the maximum work with a minimum amount of keypressing.
