Everytime I see the phrase "DVD-Jon", I get excited because I think for a second that some company finally invented something that prevents people from missing the movie when they have to take care of other issues!
I found that link in numerous Slashdot posts in less than 30 seconds!

You know, you don't have to double-click the webpage link... (yes)
You could just type the web address in the white box at the top instead of using a search engine... this is a little safer (work safe) than just guessing/remembering the URL -- also MSN sets focus to their search box after the huge page loads which usually results in people clicking on an address bar, but typing the URL in the search box
I've heard that the IIS is circling at a much lower orbit than the US was hoping for. Since the US is paying for much of the project, resources that would have been upgrading technology are now used up to keep the IIS from crashing.
looks like they specifically patented VRML-like plug-ins -- not all plug-ins -- I'm guessing that someone wrote a 3D java plug in by 1998 for use as prior art
What if a person allows IE to access the internet. A spyware program only has to make calls to access the internet using an HTTP class and it will appear to be IE to some personal firewall programs.
That does not excuse or whitewash the wrong that Americans do now or in the past.
I didn't catch where he was excusing the attrocities of the American past. Remember, one comment he was responding to was: "(waves stars and stripes, plays 'yankee doodle' on a kazoo)"
He did point out some more severe attrocities committed in other parts of the world to show that it is everyone's problem. I guess this offended some people who would like to keep their own national problems a secret in the hopes that future childrens' text books will gloss over these issues. (I did use the word: "some")
The McCarthy thing was bad too; I guess the original poster missed that one; I'm sure there are more. We'll all have to work harder.

A veteran railroad engineer will have significant hearing loss anyway due to the constant mechanical noise.
Many years ago, I used to get yelled at for making any little noise when my dad was trying to sleep. He used to hear water running and yell at us for that. Now he probably has 35% less hearing, so my much younger sister gets away with things like playing THPS3 with sound or listening to the radio at any time.
I should have bought my dad a walkman for his birthday when I was 3;)

You'll be downloading shortly after though!
yes -- seems to come and go depending on service-packs
I'm thinking (not reading the FA) that they didn't fly the same way a farmer turns soil, so they probably missed a few in there straight line flight

I thought you were going to say "US Politician".
Oh, that is what the first poster said. Sorry.
I thought you were going to say something insightful or funny.
Oh, I was wrong. Sorry.

why would a broker loan stock out with the good chance of getting it back when it is worth less -- i.e., what's in it for them? thanks

These cases were always reported in common places such as Newsweek -- but since there were no known related deaths, you didn't hear about it.
Then you have to build the $30,000 warehouse.
