  7. There's nothing alt-right about suggesting that it's probably normal for women to be under-represented in tech. Obviously if it were 0% that would indicate a problem but that doesn't mean that anything short of 50% does too.

    It sounds like a lot of people missed the part of the story where "The Mooch" accuses Priebus of being behind the leaks. Trump believes it, boots Priebus, but then realizes he's been had and boots The Mooch. They really should be televising, this stuff is gold.

    That may have been true for previous administrations, when the White House was more of a workplace and less of a reality show.

    The Hackerrank challenges are actually a good measure of how unemployed developers are because I can't imagine doing them if you have anything else going on. Seriously, they are fucking tedious.

    How hard can it be to put a cage around this thing? In terms of not having to clean bird guts out of your machines alone this seems like a no-brainer.

    Yes but it still depends on the task. Obviously TensorFlow and Numpy are great but there's still not a decent HTML parser despite the popularity of using Python to parse HTML. I can see Node eating Python's lunch in the near future for stuff like this.

    I remember a few years ago when npm was a real pain in the ass on windows and the community seemed hostile to people posting windows issues. These days it's much better and I rarely have any issues.

    Exactly. Why, with Trump's nationalist rhetoric. do his supporters somehow have a sweet spot for Russians or Russian companies? I know they helped him win, but that does not mean they can be a trusted ally. These guys have historically been the bad guys, remember Rocky 4? Does the cold war ring any bells?
