    " including on private property"

Try that sh*t on my property and you'll be pulling back a bloody stump and find that marker in a very uncomfortable place.

What kind of ass are you to promote that kind of behavior? People generally work pretty hard for the things they own, even harder for the things they make or build.

So you're saying that you'd have no issue with someone spewing their propaganda across every single thing you own, including the shirt on your back?

Man, you're a tool. It's called "civil" disobedience for a reason.

"Would any of us have heard of this if he hadn't been arrested?

Well, let's see, he was doing it in NYC, and of course no one lives there, or visits.

And he didn't seem to have any difficulty getting news coverage before he was arrested.

Jebus man, grow a brain, read a book, something. A protest is simply a way to say I disagree. If you're going to get arrested for an act of civil disobedience you'd better be getting arrested for breaking the law you oppose to get it contested.

9 out of 10 of these political protest idiots are stupid sheeple, college kids and others like them who don't even know the facts about what they are protesting! Witness how many were eager to sign a petition about dihydrogen monoxide without even asking what it was.

While the student's own efforts were B+ at best, only supports my theory that stupidity and incompetence is rather rampant among higher ed students. Oh, and the kicker here, the student is working toward a thesis about selling term papers to other college kids(as in its a legitamate thing), some sort of 'term-papers-for-hire" thing, and appearantly they aren't alone. I frankly don't know why this wouldn't get someone thrown out on their ass.

If the TSA wanted to improve security they would start pressuring the FAA to mandate solid bulkheads between the cockpit and passanger compartment on all commercial airliners. No access means no one (excepting flight crew) can drive it into something. But then heaven forbid we impose on the airline with the cost of something that has been repeatedly suggested and rejected for the better part of 20 years or more.

As far as passanger screening goes, the most dangerous weapon is the mind, so they can probably strip everybody naked (yeek!) and it still wouldn't be any safer if your terrorist were well-trained, fit, and clever.

I have to definately agree with you on the air-martials, tho it bothered me that I'd been able to pick out a few here and there.

I never said anyone could commit a crime because someone else wasn't punished enough, I addressed the initial punishment. Consider also that one person who shares a few songs will be subjected to the same 'justice' as a guy sharing TB's of stuff 24/7. The tactics employed seem to say if you're going to share music, you may as well share a lot.
After all, its not like the law is willing or capable of addressing either the severity of the crime or the extent of victims rightful damage claims.
