Looks weird to combine something like this with a church wedding (cross in the background). Doing this in Vegas with an Elvis or Micheal Jackson impersonator would make more sense and be more fun.
...they'll go spend it elsewhere (e.g. social security)
Wrong. The federal government has taken 2.4 trillion dollars *from* social security between 1984 and 2006 for use in normal day to day operations. SS is still running a surplus today.
I understand from your post that you don't like SS, but your claim is simply wrong.
The guy lives in extreme luxury based on fraud. Now, at 70 with most of his years behind him he can contemplate, read and relax where he is safe, his meals are payed for, and he gets free medical care.
I doubt he has any real regrets, just the faked remorse shown in court.
We don't have the money so give him the whole corpse and a third equity in the reformed GM. Then Kim and Jacko can go cruising around NK in a hummer, ala Weekend at Bernies, while the rest of us enjoy quality video of a more triumphant era.
Years ago I used FreeDOS to make dedicated hardware test stations. These were super cheap boxes with text only displays, an ISA extender card for the DUT, and a floppy. FreeDOS was a great way to use our existing DOS test code on the cheap. We had a floppy for each product type. Boot off the floppy, insert a card to test, hit one key and get an easy pass/fail indication. We had total control and the price was right.
In the age of PCI/PCIe I now do the same thing using Linux and a CD-ROM. You have a wealth of development tools, support for modern bus types and larger address space, and still no expensive per box software license.
The NSL at the heart of this case was issued while Bush was in office. The Patriot Act (with the NSL provisions) was signed into law by Bush. I don't think it is unfair to mention Bush in this context.
With all that talent, resources, and internal knowledge they should have a slam dunk. Unfortunately I have a lot of distrust built up from over the years about what MS sticks under the hood. It will take many years of good reviews and endorsements before I feed comfortable that the MS AV does not give any special passes to iffy software from a MS partner, or that the MS firewall will correctly block things from going out when configured to if the originator is an MS component.
Get rid of most of the cow/pig/chicken altogether. Use special meat vats that grow cloned tissue in a special nutrient. No more digestion means no more burps and farts. Place the meat factories in all cities to save on transport. In the long term you could even add infrastructure to pipe liquified meat product directly to restaurants and homes where it could be formed and flavored.
Wouldn't the Iraqi government have to sign off on that, since Iraq is sovereign nation? I suspect there is enough Iranian influence that they would not allow it.
It's part of a politically correct policy that: 1. subsidizes poor people if they use less than 500 kwh per month 2. charges 'energy hogs' more to try and make them use less
This is one aspect of a municipal utility that some may not like: subsidies and setting policy to encourage a specific behavior. They do the same thing for water service. Since even the upper tier is much less than private providers, I don't complain.

List is in the lower right here.
I did not see Binky, Shakes, or Crusty in the list.
And that's the optimistic version!
You think it's improbable Kdawson can get a boner?

Skinny, underweight people dying faster in the cold of Canada just seems like a no brainer.
That's why God made poutine.
Cowboys don't document.
Mama, don't let your babies groy up to be cowboys.
Creepy high school principal roots around former female student's MySpace page.

I meant 10^3, but slashdot ate away the ^3 symbol.
A whole new category of homework and test related excuses is discovered!
Use the increased energy density to get super light batteries with the same total energy content and hopefully safety. Sounds like a win to me.
If you have a California driver's license and a case of anxiety, you could head down to the 'farmacy'.
As Ron White says: "I get bummed when I run out of weed, and marijuana cures that."

Wide lapels and pocket protectors are timeless and durable classics.
His hair catching on fire was a classic. He was an entertainer to the end.
As long as it does not have Ben Affleck I'm cool with it.

Nuclear powered meat vats!
Lots of ketchup and deep frying.

Wide open land with relatively few people.
Don't forget the hordes of fearsome of mosquitoes.
