  1. some people just don't understand. my wife deals with HIPAA stuff and has left stuff in the car she shouldn't have. I tell her she can get in a lot of trouble for doing so, but it's too much effort to carry a laptop for some people.

    delta and united have their upgraded coach. Delta calls it Delta comfort or something

    back when we had regulation tickets cost more. back in the 80's my mom was quoted $700 or so in today's dollars for NYC to florida

    They sell debt and repay it with membership fees. It's like lending money in reverse. The shows will be watched for years to come so it's like a capital expense which will be used for years to come and it doesn't make sense to pay for it from retained earnings.

    If they paid for content from their cash reserves they wouldn't be able to fund all the content they have now and would still be paying more license fees

    nothing wrong with kids and tech. i have a pre-teen with iphones and ipads and he made the cutoff to apply to one of the elite NYC high schools. he's probably in the top 10% of all NYC kids.

    for all you know the rich kids will grow up to be trust fund kids and not know how to do anything

    Not sure what kind of drugs you're doing, but by the time PS1 came out 3dfx and Nvidia Riva TNT were out and high end PC's like mine could smoke the blocky 3D of the PS1 along with it's long load times from the CD

    the CEO is an employee of the company. The board of directors represent the interests of the investors and are elected by the investors and hire and fire the CEO at will

    New chairman and two new directors, I think its 50/50 he's out as CEO within 6 months

    Legally he isn't allowed to talk about taking the company private to anyone without a need to know about the transaction. If he said the same thing at a party instead of tweeting it, same result.

    30 years ago this might have been OK, but now it's market moving info and you arrange the transaction in secret and announce it once it's done.

    Steve Jobs was good at running a start up with niche expensive products. Apple is beyond that now.

    Before I bought the apple watch i gave up trying to figure out which Garmin Fenix to buy or which Google Gear was a decent buy out of like 50 watches. Apple watch is simple, 3 basic models and they come in two sizes and option of cellular or no cellular.

    Same with every other product. 3 or so basic models and the difference is something simple like storage size

    Like when he didn't like you in the elevator? The same one who demeaned and cursed people? The same one who had his little circle of trust and once Cook broke it the iphone and every other product at apple improved within a year, sales went back up and the stock shot up?
