there are always stories like this... I have a few... But the millions of people who go through apple stores don't experience this much crap. I dunno, I just like to give them the benefit of the doubt. If it was more than one time out of 20 that some crappy stuff happened, I'd consider other options, but Apple's service (for me) is usually great.
Yes, although security is a bitch. You're talkin'bout the fact that there have been some security updates already for Windows Vista. This is exactly the way it should work. When somebody comes to us we've got the shit before there is any exploit. So it's totally according to plan, and that's why we have the whole Windows Update thing. We made it way harder for guys to do exploits. The number will be way less because we've done some dramatic things in the code base. Apple hasn't done any of those things.
Nintendo needs to get Okami ported to the Wii, and then hire all the developers (or vice versa)...
I love Okami, because it makes its graphics look really good and succeeds, instead of "realistic" and failing.
Just like I love the Wii, because it makes games new and exciting, instead of "hyper realistic"
Of course, I don't have an HDTV, Maybe after getting one of those, and a couple of years for PS3 titles to mature, I might get me a PS3... Until then Wii Baby!
Neo Office does not look native at all, you can tell, like Firefox it is a cross platform app that was written by PC programers and then made to run on a Mac...
on a more serious (albeit off topic) note, it would be nice if Applications stayed Universal and Apple just sold people the fastest offering from Freescale/IBM or Intel/AMD...
wow... You paid 200 dollars more than I did for crappy play time (I get 10-12 hours per charge, you have to carry extra batteries and change them out) and crappy capacity (1 GB? I got 60...)
Kind of funny... I didn't know the artists got 8-14 cents a song... that sounds like a really good deal for the artists to me... and the relatively little apple does for its share is kind of expensive... paying for all that bandwidth

It was odd for me, I was just poking around looking for anything and saw the one that looked different. Clicking on it revealed that it was SigmaTel... I happened to have read that was the Audio Device Driver, so I installed it... After that, when I went back to the main window, all the "Generic Device Drivers" had names... Not sure what happened.
Sorry I don't know more about Windows... I could be much more precise if I knew what some of the things I am talking about were called...

I'm sure you contacted Apple to try to sort this out...
It is APSL, not AOSL
probably their micro-software
Here's to hoping that Adobe catches up in this dept. soon.
(who would have thought that that would ever happen?)

I'm tired of Open Office looking like ass on my Mac.
can you dim your screen without a horrible buzzing noise?

wait, so "evil" is having power?
Is "evil" the same as just plain evil?
would an all-powerful, benevolent being be "evil"?
I can no longer play it because I've changed computers too many times
and you are too lazy to deauthorize all those computers and start over?

how would your preference for "3 hour movies" change what the marketspeak said: "100 hours of video" ;-P
?
I'll give you 2 guesses

I'm sorry.
The only difference it seems to me is a metal case and a real video card in the Pro models
