    I live in a different area code than I did when I got my phone number. I use Hiya to block all calls from the old area code and whitelisted all the numbers that are in my contacts with that same area code.Sent out a mass text letting everyone know to email me if they ever change their phone number so I can update my records.

    ram is not cheap right now. when I built a system last year 8GB stick cost 40 bones. it's currently around 70.

    Dude. Amazon prime's streaming is garbage. It's all bait n switch. You're paying 100 bucks a year and you only get a handful of episodes per show/season. After that they expect you to pay per episode. No thanks.

  14. I go to the movies at most twice a year. I wait for almost everything to come out on blu-ray or netflix before I watch it because most stuff is shit anyways and not worth the money to see in the theaters.

    For the things that are worth going to see in theaters, I'd rather do that with the big screen and the good sound than watch it at the house the first time.

    Emulators are good enough. you can get USB genesis controllers. If you want the REAL thing, get the real thing and the mega everdrive. Flash cart an SD card slot to load all your games so you can play them on the real hardware, even romhacks.

    Not really. All those things are driven entirely by ego. The only act that isn't completely driven by ego is an act of absolute selflessness. Trust when I say that everyone involved in the olympics from the IOC, the spectators, sponsors, film crews, setup and teardown crews, athletes etc have a personal agenda. It really is just ego.

    It's not supposed to be a social experience. The act of watching a movie is about an ass in a seat and your focus on the screen. If you're yammering on or screwing around on your phone or pretending that you're a cast member on MST3K in a public movie theater, you're doing it wrong. You can do that after the flick is done and in a growing number of cases, before the post-credit roll teaser.
