I agree, and in the 21st century, it's just insane, because 24 hour business cycle etc. is a fact of life. It's just an inconvenience, now. But many of the idiots in our government in the USA, of both parties, and many of the citizens of the nation, actually believe we DO "get an extra hour of daylight" rather than just shift the clock.

  7. As long as someone from the shop with clean hands dispenses the product for you, I might consider it. Typically in the US it's bins that 'grazers' stick their hands in. And it's bad for dealing with food cross contamination.

It's a subsidy to Chinese stainless steel makers. Tongue in cheek? Yes, but also true. I wonder if they'll clean the things in cold water or hot water? What kind of detergent? This seems like another 'Oh I feel so virtuous for saving the planet' which is actually worse. I'd love to see real analysis of this.

Don't forget 'soft' prejudice, like being career sidelined if they have to care for an ailing spouse, parent, or child; losing a job if they don't work a lot more unpaid overtime than a female; losing a job if they say to a woman in the office 'hey you look nice today' - and that being it, no lewdity, etc. Yup.

Perhaps women do better academically than men because, yes, boys are more boisterous, so they're drugged and can't think because, goodness knows, you can't have schools that let kids move. As for women doing better academically than men, I'd argue that men have more of a range - there are more geniuses and more idiots.

And yet, freedom is both symbolic and actual. Police shootings are a symptom, not a reason. Now I'm going to ask for sources: Where are the largest numbers of police shootings? What cities? (I'm sure that they aren't in rural areas much due to population density). What are the demographics of the crimes happening or supposedly happening?
