Not only that, but the evidence is also that the BOTTLES leach toxins into the water.
Don't forget the environmental impact of bottling water (wherever) trucking it someplace else uses a lot of fuel, and the bottles themselves contribute significantly to the waste stream.
I hate to tell you this but there are a LOT of people living in the American midwest and there's something rather important there too:
FARM LAND.
If you think you can have America produce food while you turn Iowa into another Bay Area, you're sadly mistaken.
No. The idea of the ACA was, and is, to destroy employer provided healthcare, so folks can suffer, and scream for the Democrats to put IN single payer healthcare.
It was deliberately engineer to impoverish Americans further.
Not to mention Obama, whose administration encouraged the rise of Isis, through basically abandoning Iraq, and supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.
As for economic depressions, the current one we are in due to administration incompetence, is completely on Obama - who is as much or more of a failure than Bush.
On the contrary, government policy does CONTRIBUTE to this.
And I'd say our policy for decades, Republican or Democrat in power, has been to offshore jobs.
I'm not saying that governments cannot accomplish useful things -- ours does even though that's usually by accident.
What I am saying is this:
Most folks who are of the lefty persuasion seem to think that government is all powerful and should be...prayed to...to get what one wants in life. Saying "The government should do it" is really the equivalent, for them, of saying "OH, G*d, please grant me this boon."
I find the whole thing insane but most folks dseem to see it that way.
Folks who are anti-smart meter are kooks?
Why?
Let's see, why would I object to every electric load I use to be data mined, so everything I do can be tracked? I can't imagine how this can be a bad thing.
Why should the utilities actually have enough capacity? They should just shut us peons off.
Etc.
YOU are the cretin.
I lived in North Korea to the south for a decade and it's so-so. Vermont DOES have constitutional carry but now at least NH has open carry with no issues. And they have a "shall issue" license.
Income taxes/property taxes/ sales taxes -- you have to get tax revenue somehow I suppose. And property taxes typically mean if you're more well off and have a fancier house you pay more.
You have the wing nuts in Vermont, unfortunately, especially that gun grabber from Chicago who is desperately trying to make Vermont like Illinois.
Actually, some of us citizens of the USA who are genuine conservatives (probably a small number) think all of these people are obscenely evil and deserve to be sent somewhere else in the universe - alpha centuri, perhaps, because they have mostly destroyed this nation, and the western world, and continue to do so.
Unfortunately, it's the liberals who have embraced the 1984-esque scenarios whilst the "conservatives" have embraced the Brave New World scenarios.
And the difference is?
He's worse, because his Democrat party traditionally has been one that was more believing in privacy, at least for the last 20 years.
Before that, not so much.
The fact of the matter is, Democrats are as evil, if not more so, than Republicans, mostly because they are the intellectual heirs of Trotsky, Lenin, and Stalin, and act accordingly.
Um, at least in terms of jobs and wages, we ARE in a depression.
I'd guess tht any 'economic growth' is actually growth that is done by companies with lots of offshoring - so it doesn't count . (I don't think economic calculations take into account outsourced work,i.e. I have a company that makes widgets with 99% of the manufacture done in Asia but 1% done here so it is 'made in usa.' BIngo, that's US gdp).
When we actually have wage growth and genuinely, not artificially, low unemployment I'll think we aren't in a depression.
Yes, and as Obama is doing now.
On a per capita basis, highly developed capitalist economies pollute less. Explain that.
And we in the USA get screwed by these agreements too because ALL of our jobs are going, going gone.
No. I drove a police car for years and no, we didn't have 2 litre bottles of Coca Cola.

Plus: There are more than 4 billion people that I can believe I can pay $.01 per day to code for me.
This had more to do with politics than religion.
Yes, it was killed by folks in oh-so-liberal, green Massachusetts.
Not to mention Obama, whose administration encouraged the rise of Isis, through basically abandoning Iraq, and supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. In some states, helmets are mandatory.
They also have caused tens of thousands of breast cancer cases, including for my sister.
The Democrats got exactly what they wanted: A destroyed economy, and a diminished USA.
I knew what you meant but thanks for the correction.

Tight regulation does not mean it won't be used that way. Hint: Social security numbers in the US are not to be used for identification.

Well he certainly worships at the altar of state - my observation is that the left does the following: s/God/Government/g and that's their religion.
Or how latte swilling liberals defend their racism and classism?
