I agree that the attachment to the other stories is a bit strange, but I prefer seeing them all inline as opposed to scanning separate lists of stories.
Nowadays, you can download demos and watch videos of just about any game online. The reviewer isn't doing much that you can't do yourself, though it might take you slightly longer to download such content. I'm not sure the problem is the writing, I think it's the need. Is game reviewing even necessary? Were reviews this bad back in the early 90's and 80's when gamers didn't have the access to the kind of preview stuff that's out there today?
/Or you could keep it in it's box and only use it once a year to conserve the bulb/
I've had a projector for 3 years with the same bulb. I use it between 5 and 10 hours a week.
When the bulb *does* burn out, I may buy a new projector and sell the old one. There are some much nicer models available these days for less than what I originally paid for mine.
For the longest time, I've felt that France isn't a real country. I feel like it's an inside joke that the rest of the world just doesn't get.
Next thing you know, the department of culture* will be telling people to eat at restraunts instead of preparing their own meals, hiring maids instead of sweeping their floors, etc.
i buy used stuff from sellers through amazon more often than i buy new stuff. it's linked right from amazon's product pages. amazon does the payment handling, so need to futz around with paypal or the like.
The problem isn't the numebr of websites, it's the inability of social websites to mesh together. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to link to my friends on orkut from friendster and vice versa. There's also no reason a search on orkut can't pull results from friendster, and again, vice versa. If social sites could agree on a shared interface, they could all play together.
if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
why not work with management to find alternative strategies to patenting things you don't believe should be patented?
any games that you can play in windowed mode (as opposed to full screen) will allow you to do this.
After seeing the film, no, I would not pay for it.
It's a dumb movie and the action scenes aren't enough to make up for it.
unless you deliver a mobile application on your site or target a mobile market, there's really no reason to support such devices.
screw sidebars!

I think his point was that one shouldn't have children unless there is enough money for one parent to stay home.

* wtf
you might be surprised to find that both articles linked from the story answer your questions and concerns. you might want to try reading them.
I like how his "real word" test involved copying cd images of commercial software. Just what does he use this thing for?
Couldn't this be a problem for any DLL linked into the executable?
int main( int argc, char** argv )
{
return 0;
}

Let the board members know about it:

looks like much of the "content" they index is pirated material.
it also costs money to use their service.
Not quite. All cellphones have this thing called an IMEI number, which is unique per phone. It's also broadcast to the cellular network.
I don't think anyone would expect them to aspire to be smaller than Google in search.

cellphones!
most cellphones have java support these days and most college students have cellphones.
the acting in the trailer didn't look too bad, either. Though, compared to the actual Star Trek films or late, the acting is probably superb.
HP is moving more and more towards the consumer desktop market. Is this guy even going to have a job next week?
