damn them both, the profiteers! I spend thousands of dollars on vinyl records each year, and have been forced to house the better part of my collection (about 100 crates last time I moved them)
in a self storage unit (small manhattan apartment). I think they are actually in cahoots !!!!

A common test back in the day would be to play a master mix through the shittiest AM radio type

    gear.

The calculator says I am overweight at 6'9" 248#. I have been at 235 and
people would tell me I am looking too thin then. If my body mass were
right according to that thing, I would be sickly thin ....

I just LOVE that argument. You can do all three of those things on a used piece of crap. I saw an iMac G3 on ebay sell for $20.00 last week.
That should get the job done....

As far as real requirements, the mac can now do anything the PC can do. Why? Just boot it in XP or run a VM.

They all have ipods and couldn't wait for the iphone to come out. They'd rather scratch their eyes out than use a wintel
computer. Apple should just kiss them all goodbye and make ipods and phones. That makes a whole lot of sense.

  25. Re:Ummm on Robots Teach Autistic Kids Social Skills · · Score: 1

You know little to nothing about autistic people. While I understand the humor or your post, it shows little of the
social conciousness that you speak of. These are people that are socially and emotionally disconnected, I don't mean disconnected like
we can be, I mean literally the plug is gone from the socket never to return. Everything you know about teaching "normal"
people does not apply here. The "emotional social conciousness" stuff just does not apply at all to autistic people,
who have little to no hope of learning those kinds of things. What they could learn, though, are some valuable skills to
help them better get throuh the day.
