I was really impressed with the Cowboy Bebop series. I watched it on a fluke and decided to buy the whole thing on DVD. A lot of thought went behind it and the animation is really superb.
Character development is great. Some of the episodes are tear jerkers. The episode that Ed finds her father was pretty emotional.
And the music is top notch!
Check it out if you haven't. Personally, I'm really excited to see the movie come out here. Hopefully it will hit the nearest independent theatre.
Does anyone remember the game Elite (followed by Frontier and Frontier First Encounters)? Now THAT was a space sim. It would be impossible to visit all of the worlds and, yet, it still fit on no more than a couple of disks for FFE. It was just one of those games with limitless options and no need to follow the storyline if you didn't want to.
I spent many a day trying to save up for the badass ships. The satisfaction of smuggling slaves without getting caught was just so...great.
They're all shareware now, by the way. You can find them at http://www.eliteclub.co.uk.
Hi. I notice that you have posted for the world to see a copy of my tremendous offer that I sent to everyone in the world so that they could see how easy it is to enlarge your penis.
Unfortunately, this is copyrighted.
I know what you are saying - if I sent it to everyone why should I care if you post it for everyone to see? I mean, yes, great advertising!
It works the same way as the bible, though. Sure, you can buy the holy book and just about everyone has it since everyone in this blessed country is of the faith. But if you were to post it online, thanks to Disney and other defenders of the meek, God would sue you and probably condemn you to eternal damnation.
Who wants that?
So I recommend that you pay me large sums of money to help compensate for the money I have lost due to your I-do-things-against-God compaign. We will then both be happy!
That's pretty sweet how he makes the x86 processor faster by adding commands for divx! This guy knows how to improve Intel architecture for the masses!
I actually listen to Stern in the morning with my mp3 player in FM mode - and then once he's off the air I slip in an mp3 CD of vintage Stern. I have about a year of Stern on CD.
Sorry guy, but I'm a proud owner of the SlimX player. I guess it depends on what you want, but I'm really into the MP3 cdplayer. It's cheap and well constructed. I couldn't ask for anything more. It also works great in my car with the car kit. It also claims in the future, through a firmware upgrade, it will support ogg.
Sure it would help. If you could actually convince people outside of Slashdot to do it.

Either AOL wins a lot of anti-spam cases in Virginia or the editors at ./ post a lot of duplicate stories.
Anyone know where I can get a good penis enlarger or a new home mortage for Christmas? I've been searching all over the Internet without any success.
But wouldn't it be sweet if they also offered superior ATI drivers? That'd sure make them think.
Sounds like a good business decision to me.
I'm confused. Why is it wrong to shout 'theatre' in a crowded firehouse?
If by "will" you mean "might" then yes, I agree with you.

"This discovery is being hailed as the most important solar system discovery in the past 72 years."
Not by me.
For sure on the iRiver line of portables. Somebody up above pointed to a page on the iRiver site that confirms they are working on adding Ogg support.

Looked like disc 4 was Fast and the Furious.
Wouldn't that just be an incentive to continue creating superstars based on their looks so you crave their pictures?
Hush, terrorist.
I thought it was pretty bad. It turned off my gas and my electricity after it had fun with my unpatched IIS server.
I'm listening to it right now.
So what happens when I want to move a piano?
For Slashdot would-be Generals:

Someone should just write a Code Red variant of their own to download the patch for the web servers and install it...
Was I the only one to find this funny?
