The determining factor in drunk driving,thc, and cell phone use should be impaired driving
Video the vehicle, pull them over, and charge them with stiff fines for impaired driving. I don't understand why we need tests to measure anything about it.
We're in the 21st century and we have extremely cheap vid cams. It's a no brainer that when you show somebody doing something stupid while driving that a jury of their peers would be happy to slap them for it.
Alcohol affects people in different ways, Just like THC does.
After some beers - I drive differently from when I'm sober. When I'm sober, I'm a lead foot tailgating cursing driver that wants to kill the person in the left lane refusing to obey the overtake law. If I've had a few beers, then I make damn sure to be in the right lane- under speed limit, and take back roads to avoid excessive fines in case I lose the drive lottery and get pulled over.
One thing I am happy to avoid? Brain damage from THC
I think with all the programmers on this site , we should be insisting on paper voting. At least there is a reliable record to go back to (and no chads jokes please) recount.
Otherwise, why bother voting on a machine you don't get to see the source code for. You having a choice will not matter to whomever controls the code.
Yup! Bush was a pansy, Obama not only made sure all of the telco's were immune from lawsuits, Made sure that we'd still be bombing in Iraq and expanding in Afghanistan - he flipped the finger at forming a coalition and bombed the shit out of Syria!
And as an ice cream topper - he did it all with the approval of the media.
That's freaking awesome. The media spent a shitload of time asking bush if he did cocaine - Obama published a book where he manned up to not only toking weed, but snorting coke - and he told the media to piss off.
Yep, all of the blame is on bush - I can't wait to watch all of the Orambo movies on the big screen..
Please - Keep supporting ethanol. I love paying higher prices in the grocery stores, polluting more, and supporting the people in charge fighting for it!

Coast to coast in america you are looking at a little over 2000 miles. You expect full fiber coverage over a landmass that even Mc Donalds can't spread their brand over. Note the big bubbles - that's one store serving a gigantic area
In the midwest - Illinois, there are still areas that can't get dsl - let alone cable. They are restricted to speeds of 56k or less - some resort to satellite with the FUP hobble.
Fiber is going to take many years to roll out in populous states, let alone the states like Nevada or Idaho. We're a bit larger and less populated than countries in europe per capita.
So, Google is wrongly going after floating balloons since it's going to be incredibly expensive to fiber all of the united states. Unfortunately, google is going to continue to cause harm since they sold out.
If someone avails themselves of a strip club and uses it foolishly (ie - drinking and driving) then the strip club (and everyone there) are the gun that kills innocent people.
take away the strip club (i.e. band the gun) then the strip club can't kill.
So yes, you cannot support any gun laws with your current argument.
Bars here have to close at 1 am. Strip clubs allow the drunk bar folks to keep drinking past that time - which is why she died.
He went from a bar to a strip club and kept on chugging. If he wouldn't of been able to keep on drinking in public after 1 am - then he would not of been in a position to kill her.
Going back to the gun analogy - if busy bodies need to use the freedom of information act to name and shame - then all of us should step up and protect the ones that are being shamed. Unfortunately, there are too many shitheads that are partial to who they will protect and who they will not.
Please share here ways to get away from ad loving, privacy sucking browsers.

That's the guy that got extremely drunk at a strip club and killed an innocent friend. I realize you might of looked at my earlier post and were just being facetious in your reply.
If the government supports turning over FOID registrations to people who ask, and you don't fight them, then you shouldn't support fighting for the privacy of other folks that for that same privacy.
Martin NiemÃller had a really good point to make about atrocities.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak outâ"
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak outâ"

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak outâ"
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for meâ"and there was no one left to speak for me.
They've come after law abiding folks who registered to own a weapon. When did you fight back?
Let's strip the nudity from the equation. (I know, not punny)
A newspaper files under the act to get all publicly licensed dancers information them posts an aggregation of it.
A newspaper files under the act to get all publicly licensed FOID information them posts an aggregation of it.
In the former, there could be people hurt by sex stalkers and such, In the latter there could be people hurt by felons targeting the homes to steal the weapons that might be there.
Does that sway or change your opinion in either course?
From what I can gather, somewhere along the line they had to "enhance" the F ratings to get more f4's and ef 5's.
The F scale rates a tornado from F0 all the way to F5 with a F5 tornado having the fastest wind speeds and causing the most damage.
An F0 Tornado
* Have wind speeds between 40-72 mph
* Causes light damage.
* Branches breaks off of trees and pushes over smaller trees.
An F1 Tornado
* Have wind speeds between 73-112 mph
* Causes moderate damage.
* Tiles breaks off of roofs. Cars and trailers gets pushed
An F2 Tornado
* Have wind speeds between 113-157 mph
* Causes considerable damage.
* Roofs gets torned off. Big trees get toppled. Mobile homes are destroyed. Heavy cars are lifted and thrown.
An F3 Tornado
* Have wind speeds between 158â"206 mph
* Causes Severe Damage.
* Roofs torned off even on the most well constructed structures. Trains are overturned.
An F4 Tornado
* Have wind speeds between 207-260 mph
* Causes Catostrophic Damage
* Well constructed structures are leveled. Structures with weak foundations are blown away.
An F5 Tornado
* Have wind speeds between 261â"318 mph
* Causes Total Damage
* Few if any structures are left standing. Cars become missles flying in the air.
And yet it's still open, and nobody cares. This was the "Plan", "Change" we can believe in....
He's almost done with his eight years and leaves behind a legacy of a dead economy, a third of all americans on welfare, expansion of the very things he argued against (like wiretapping) and most of all - wait, before I say it, I have to resurrect a favorite quote..
The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government can not pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that "the buck stops here." Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better
Guess who made the above quote, and guess who signed into being a raise in the debt ceiling in February of this year...

Yeah, I've waited for you - so here's the link about dain bramage and alcohol.
http://www.hamsnetwork.org/bra...
There's a reason who pot smokers are generally portrayed as missing a few brain cells.
With that said - I have absolutely no problem with people smoking weed. THC helps people with cancer, pain mediation, and folks with vision.
But they absolutely should be treated the same as drunk drivers if they are impaired and driving.
and the link is......
Bullshit.
Alcohol affects people in different ways, Just like THC does.

I think that THC use and Texting while driving should have the exact same penalties as someone who has .08 BAC.

we need a -1 "keeping it real" too.
I thought we'd have flying cars?
Oh, I get it, this is the 21st century dream of having flying cars...
No, you got that wrong - we get a say in those rules.
Much as you'd like to silence us...

I pay for netflix monthly because it's commercial free.
If I am to pay for news, it has to be commercial free. No ads, no fake story ads, just content.
Piss off until then.

By your own analogy, you cannot support any gun laws at all.
And yes, Bars have to close around two am - strip clubs serving cheaper beers are allowed to say open till 5 am.
Please move to gaming. It's the final blockade to me switching all the family and friends to Linux.
The old people were happy getting away from win 8 and back to a desktop that works, but the younger ones still can't accept Ubuntu.
Linux can and will in my opinion finally crush the other two os's - they are both fixated on the walled garden with "apps" to feed them.
Save us Linux, you are our only hope //the holograph figure turns and sees something, then fiddles with the holograph controls//

I just realized that I should of posted the actual damage strip clubs do instead of doing a tit for tat.

Rest easy, I have watched my firearms, they sit where they are left and have not grown legs and moved yet.
BTW - nice dodge, I drive a jeep.
P.s. In neighborhoods where there are nude dancers, there are usually low lifes that frequent them. A friend of mine was killed by one actually.

Umm, wow, hanging it all on the republicans....
Obama and big ears (the wife) did a lot of campaigning for quinn in illinois.
Even a bastion of democrats with badass obama leading the charge - just fell to the other side.
I guess people do care. They just don't care about what you care about.
Woops, Maybe I was wrong.
The Republicans just took control of the house and senate.
Some people did care and just kicked Obama in the ass.
And yet it's still open, and nobody cares. This was the "Plan", "Change" we can believe in....
