After I parked my flying car, which had been promised to me well over 40 years ago as the transportation of now, I look forward to my robotic car that will safely transport me via the cloud.
My only worry is how many monkeys will fly out of my ass before the self driving car that is available to the middle class or poorer - with of course all the new laws and stuff.
And I am counting on how many monkeys will be flying out of my dead ass - so let your kids know I will still be counting.
So far I am at zero - and I will update accordingly.
And I'm certain you can observe most (if not all) of those activities in just about every major city across the entire globe.
I'm also fairly certain that even with your extensive travels across India that you observed a mere fraction of a percentage of the represented population, especially when you consider the population statistics in that country vs. the other 99% of the world. They aren't exactly shrinking.
Is Chicago or Detroit a major city?
If so, then you are wrong.
If you really go looking under highways or viaducts, you'll find a few here and there. Even Detroit is turning into crap, and does not have the same problems you are describing.
Granted, Detroit isn't a major city anymore, so I am curious about where you rate Chicago.
I live about thirty miles from the Sears tower (and no, it's not a willis tower - and hold the willy penis jokes please).
So do YOU do that? Me neither. Because I'm a cheapassgamer(dot-com) Most people don't pay. They want something for nothing. A study recently published to slashdot shows even if you sold ebooks or games for $1 each, people would still take the stuff for free rather than pay.
Actually, i do one better, my website and forum has been active for over ten years and has never seen an ad, and is driven by my investment, and the folks who frequent the forum.
I understand that most folks don't actually run web sites or forums. So that might be a foreign concept - but it is relatively inexpensive to have a very active website run off a server in your home for a few more dollars than just a interweb connection.:)
If sites need advertising dollars, let me just run a bot that keeps clicking that ad 24/7.
Back in the day, that's how a lot of sites made money.
If you want me to read the ad - Don't make it move Don't make it flash Don't make it obnoxious and obvious Don't play a sound Don't make it a clickthru Don't Block Content until the ad is done Allow a video choice Allow a bypass choice Do not open pop ups, Pop unders Do not stay frozen on a page while you scroll
(list goes on for another 1000 things advertisers have done to force me to adblock)
And finally, nothing is stopping the poor sod who is upset about adblocking everything and writing a check to the web site and popping it off in the mail.
Specifically, anyone with access to view a facebook page can 'report' it, and Facebook employees have training about which content is against the AUP or plainly illegal, and what needs to be forwarded there. If you report a clear terrorist threat on someone's private page that you have access to, clearly you would expect the staff to forward it to the FBI. This guy may have been a bit nutty, but someone still hit the report button, and I guess they acted on it. Can't say I disagree with the system in this case.
Wow.
I am simply amazed that you accept corporate training of a facebook employee as something other than total crap.
In the corporate world i worked in a fortune 500 company, as part of my ongoing training, we sat in groups of five using legos to build facilities to describe how they would help advance the business.
In another training session we were asked how we would spend three million dollars , then we were told that the company was losing that much each month because we weren't grabbing it. 4 people got fired after a very entertaining and spot on evaluation of the company.
training.
Unless you are a dog or something , it doesn't quite stick.
Hopefully someone anti-DRM buys them out and lets EA games return to its former glory, instead of being one of the companies I will not buy anything from.
Single player = No Persistent Online Connection - It Broke my Heart to flip Blizzard off over it on Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2.
But they too joined EA games on the "NO BUY LIST" .
I did more than 5-20 minutes trying to set up the sound for the game - but instead of acting like a shithead, why don't you let us know how to connect the sound to the game?
After all, it's trivial right? 5-20 minutes is all the time it'll take you.
Ditto - I have no desire to game with others unless it's a lan party.
EA Games has been off of my "Buy" list for a couple years now.
YAY -I Actually shot something!

Get on a jet and get to where it's cooler!
Load up a server.
Research some basic, medium and expert problems.
Cause them on the server for each interviewee.
The person that fixes it the fastest with the least amount of google searching is the one you want.
Hmm, so New York is on the top twenty?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World's_largest_cities
I know, I'm a loser, I did my own research - Guess Chi-town isn' as big as I thought it was.
But that's ok, cause I wish we could give Chicago to canada.
(and california to Mexico, and florida to cuba, and erase Washington DC - cause that would fix America :) )

So essentially, as a civilization we've devolved from being able to read, and need to go back to cartoon paintings on a wall to convey information?

You rock.
That was some really cool stuff to add, and I hope some mods +1 informative you
!
Mine.
Care to invest?
heh, brain burp there, I have had x-com for almost twice that long.
(I went to an Italian Birthday Party yesterday - Grappa has done some work on my noggin)

I have been playing that game for about ten years now, and there was no DLC for it.
MOO 2? Same.
I think they are just trying to justify alternate revenue streams by lying.
Nope, it wasn't Niggers.
So, you give up then?
Thought so.
So, it's not 10 to 15 minutes, but rather I should devote hours to setting it up?
Gee, that sorta makes the first anon coward post in the thread look - totally idiotic then.
Still doesn't work.
How much more time you got left in that 10-15 minutes and trivial setup?
I did more than 5-20 minutes trying to set up the sound for the game - but instead of acting like a shithead, why don't you let us know how to connect the sound to the game?
After all, it's trivial right? 5-20 minutes is all the time it'll take you.
Then you can really make me look stupid. :)
That stung you huh?
Actually, when I tried to use dosbox I could never get the sound driver bit right. I don't have a lot of time to spend figuring it out either.
It's called "earning a living" you should try it sometime.
I said no to star craft two and diablo 3 as well.
totally sucks as I really put a ton of hours in the previous versions.
I'm a bit nostalgic to play Warcraft 1, anyone know if that'll load and play on XP?
Can I please have my single player offline games back?
