    I still don't get 'podcasting'... blogs are bad enough, but I hate talk radio so I don't think I'd be down with 'talk blogs'.

    I guess I just don't get it cause I don't have an iPod.. maybe I'm not cool enough.

    Maybe someday we'll have small portable phones we can take anywhere without worrying about needing 802.11b access! I can't wait for that to happen!

    I wonder how well this kind of propulsion will work in interestellar space where there is no solar wind, let alone enough protons from one direction.

    Maybe they'll figure out how to tack eventually...

    Not to go against what you've said since most of it is spot on, but I've never gotten any grief for asking for 'the whole can' when I've flown recently.

    yup, basically. The difference is that this method will transfer the heat a lot faster. Because of both greater surface area along the pipe vs the bucket, and also the air actively moving through the fan.

    This will be much more likely for me when they actually come out with a mouse/kb input for FPS games. I can't stand using gamepads for those kind of games.

    Another problem is the resolution -- HD offers up to 1080 lines, wheras my monitor has been doing at least that for 8 years. Lots of mmo games have text for chat, and it's hard to replace with voice-com (it gets annoying, or you want to listen to music, or watch TV while playing, which I do).

    Either way I enjoy my console for my console type games, and my PC for FPS and MMO games.

    because the costs of a droid army are not zero -- and the smarter you make them, the more they cost. so you can either zerg your enemies (standard battle droids) or outsmart them with smaller numbers of more advanced droids (destroyers). In most scenes in the movies, the meat soldiers were able to take out many droids, especially the jedi.

    We use pubcookie all over here at the U of Washington, and it is very nice.
