Being as I am too lazy to learn how to configure sendmail, and way too lazy to learn how to config it properly, this is a way better solution for me. That, and I despise email clients on the PC, but those are personal issues.
I havent tested it on my hosted account yet, but you can create unique aliases. If your account is john.doe@gmail.com, you can create john.doe+amazon@gmail.com when you submit to amazon and it will be sent to you, so you know it came from amazon.
Luckily, I got her into gaming shortly after we started dating. She started playing SSX3 on my Xbox, and since she got home before I did, she would already be playing when I got there. Since then she has mastered Soul Calibur 2, Tiger Woods 2005, Beyond Good & Evil, and many others. She even sneaks my DS from me to play Super Mario 64DS now and again. Usually, it is something we do together (unless she picks Ivy in SC2, then I suggest we watch a movie. She knows some sick combos:)
I can never spell that word right, either forgetting the a or an e at the end. I don't address her as "my fiancee". Anyways, she will be the "wife" soon enough, and that is easier to spell:)
I'm 23, but do pretty much exactly what you describe, monday through thursday, but on fridays I go see my fiencee, and since we're getting married in 3 months, I don't think it is going to last much longer...
I don't think he understands the realities of the problems of helping others around the world
Im not saying he is right in making these comments, but he does know a thing or two about donating millions of dollars to help people around the world...
I am in total agreement with you about kids/Mrated games. But dont stop me (23 y/o) from buying whatever I want. It would be one thing if they were trying to get some sort of restriction put in for kids to not buy it, but pressuring retailers not to carry an R* game? Yeah, that'll happen.
Yeah, how do you sell hype? "Ill take one bag of hype please."
I own a DS, Dreamcast, n64, ps2, xbox, and 360. I love my 360 more than all the rest put together (other than maybe the portable GBA RPGS on the ds:) Maybe I'm a fan boy, but the 360 kicks some ass. Too bad theres not more games. Once forza hits for the 360, its all over:)
Too bad they couldn't release it on XBLA. I am a BIG fan of the arcade games on there. I dont think it would meet the size requirements, and I find it unlikely that too many people will buy this, aside from it being "from rockstar! OMG!"
I have an n50 speedpad, which only has 2 rows of 5 keys and doesnt have the orange button obove the Dpad, but basically the same idea. I found using it was completely awesome, had custom binds in it for each game i played. My only problem was that it got in the way on my relatively small desk, and I still needed the kybd around for bindings i couldnt map on there without sacraficing an important key. Maybe 15 buttons would fix that. That, paired with either my Razer Copperhead or my Logitech mx700 was quite a killer combo. Too bad i spend all my time playing my DS and 360 now...
Ugh, tell me about it. I work at a fulfillment house that ships products for ecommerce folks, and one customer had their site setup with oscommerce. Writing an integration between our servers and their shopping cart, even just setting it up to send and receive SOAP messages was a PITA. Too bad I didn't take the time to write a module to do that, so now its code mods everytime it gets changed... bleh
I'm not defending EA here, but I happen to be able to think of a few more recent games that were innovative: Mutant League Football - Interesting take on football, i think they should bring it back
MOH:AA - WWII is tired now, but MOH was the first to do it well (and i guess you could call that innovation) Beetle Adventure Racing - This was an interesting take on the racing genre back in the n64 days. I still have a copy and bust this out every now and again, still good times to be had there.
EA puts out some good games, but not too many innovative ones anymore. It seems those days are pretty much over...
Ill agree with most of those points, however, I've never been a big fan of the GC controller myself. The wave bird was hot though.
Snes: Agreed. Still amongst my favorites.
Xbox: Im a big fan of the s type controller personally (and the 360 wireless one as well). The duke, ew. Did anyone playtest that before it was released?
PS2: I also am not a fan. Too small, feels cheaply made (to me). I've got several that no longer work, but I've also got 4 xbox controllers that have taken some serious punshiment, and keep on ticking (one even has bite marks... dont ask)
Can't comment on the c64, didnt own one.
The difference is, it uploads your points and adds to your gamer score. Its fun to try to catch up to all of my friends who have had their 360s for a few more months than I.
Marble blast Ultras leaderboards are addicting. Aside from staring at times that i will NEVER be able to match, the "friends" leaderboard is geinus. Instead of playing single player, my friends and I will be in a private chat, playing single player while we beat each others times. Now that is some fun shit (multiplayer is fun too:)
Well, the AFC championship game between the steelers and broncos had 118 plays, but I sincerely doubt they change the ball between every play. Never really paid enough attention to that.
On topic, an interesting application of tech, not sure that it is real newsworthy (in the slashdot sense)
I'm not a huge fan of the price of such services, but my dad has the Verizon service. We were camping at Watkins Glen, and were able to listen to the internet broadcast of the race we were watching. Has worked all over the east coast, quite nicely. something in the neighborhood of $80 though...

Too bad it basically rules out having OOT ported to my portable :(
I really really wanted the highest rated game ever to be in my pocket.

KDE comes with K3B, which has worked perfectly every time I use it. Its great, it tastes great, like Nero used to...
Anticonstitutional
:)
I like that, sounds much more devious than unconstitutional

Easy. They just fly everybody to the moon to test their landers under those rules.
I got a 360 and COD2 on a nice monitor, and it sure is pretty :) but more importantly, it is some real fun to play online with my buddies

No, NA developers make dreck like Outlaw Volleyball
blech, what dreck.
