based on my knowledge of image detection, I would assume that it would not have any trouble using yellow or white lines. It's more about edge detection and recognizing the difference between the white/yellow line and the grey/black concrete/macadam beside it.
Which leads into the snow and rain... I would think it would be pretty useless in snowy conditions where the lines were obscured. Personally I wouldn't be using cruise control anyway on a snow-covered road.
the extra manufacturing plant is definately a plus. I'm sure they will continue the limiting of quantities, just to keep the buzz going. However, this should help to bring down the large eBay market out there. Maybe it will start to make it feasible for someone to get one for under $600.
I think I'll be waiting until Halo 3 comes out. Whenever that may be.....
I have a MPShuttle II in my car, which consists of a 20Gb swapable drive, that can be dropped into your home PC to transfer MP3s. I have had it in my car for about 3 years, and have not had any problems with the hard drive crashing. Don't forget that the HD is only accessed for a few seconds, then the MP3 is in RAM for the duration of the song.
I also recently purchased a sony (51") rear projection TV. I have successfully hooked it up to my computer. My video card (Chaintech GeForce4) has a DVI output. The only problem is that I have it setup as an extended desktop, so instead of displaying the same thing as my monitor, it extends the desktop onto the TV.
its nice to see people trying to help out slashdotting. Maybe we can get other posters to get a few backup links in their posts to try to alleviate the load on these poor sites.
I remember back when the site was called FNwire. I have been reading their(his) stories for a long time now and can say that I will definately miss his humor. (Expecially since TheOnion is blocked at my place of employment). Thanks for all the stories.
I live in Central Pennslyvania and get my cable modem access through Adelphia. It is only $40 a month. Also, the first 3 months were only $19.95 a month. On top of that if you install it yourself you get a 4th month free. I usually get around 2Mbps down and am restricted to 128kbps up. So $80 a month seems like a hella lotta money compared to what Aelphia offers. Then again, I hope Adelphia stays around long enough to continue offering this connection.
I played both Adventure Cons Set and Pinball Cons Set, and I would have to say that I learned many things from them. Using ACS I think I created my first "D&D" module with it. Then gave it to my friend to try playing it. I think we could use more of these games that encourage thought, and not just 1st person shooter. Neverwinter Nights would be a good example. As a DM you create your own modules and in the process polish up on your code writing abilities.
There will never be a lack of "food" available as long as enough peoople share their files. So, I don't see a point where there will be too many users. More users just equals more files available. And with things like the new WinMX 3.0 you dl off of multiple people at one time, so if you find a song that, say, 30 different people all have, then chances are it is gonna be the real song with no problems.
Stocks are supposed to be to support a company, not to just buy for the fun of having it. I dont care how much I loved a company, I would not buy shares of that company just because I thought it was neat.
I assume this person is talking about www.zerba.nl looking to purchase www.zerba.com?

Lance had testicular cancer. So, obviously it isn't gonna hurt when you smash your groin into something when you've got no balls.

And what about IST? Information Science and Technology? I don't really think that's a science either.
What if there just happens to be more subscribers living in their McMansions than those living in their McCardboard Boxes?
